My family has dined at the Stoney Creek Inn on several occasions. We typically stop at the restaurant for lunch before (or after) biking the Stoney Creek trail with friends. The restaurant is located right next to Stoney Creek and has a large deck with a bar and dining area that overlooks the water. It's a great spot to relax, listen to the water and have a beer and a sandwich.We have typically ordered more casual fare: sandwiches, fries, appetizers and drinks and kids' meals too. I have never been disappointed with the food - very consistent and satisfying.We have eaten in the bar at least twice and just recently had dinner in the dining room. I have always been pleased with the meals- burgers are a hit with my husband and the kids and the crab fries are nice as well.Try it in the nice weather when you can sit outside and enjoy the view.

My husband and I went here last Saturday for a late lunch. I was really looking forward to the broiled seafood platter which I asked the waitress if I could order, since it was still lunch. They accomadated. It was great? 3 huge stuffed mushrooms, 2 enormous shrimp, a lobster tail, flounder and big scallops. Definately worth the money. You have to sit on the deck. Awesome setting. This was our second or third time here and we've never been disappointed. Will definately be back!

This would be a good place for a beer, burgers and appetizers. I order the crab cakes which were 25.00 for two. Not bad for a nice dinner. When they came out I just took one look at them and knew they were full of breading. I can get very good lump crab cakes full of crab elsewhere for the same price or cheaper. The steak that was ordered T-bone. Was not done evenly. This place was a little pricey for the quality of food. The staff was very friendly and prompt. If you sit outside there is a beautiful view of the creek with a water fall. Nice Deck area.

At the recommendation of a family member, my wife and I dined there for our 13th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent as well as in plenty and the service was outstanding.We decided midway through the meal, that this restaurant has definitely made the rotation.
