Very friendly and accommodating. Wine is about average cost. The bottle we got seemed to taste a little like vinegar, is that normal?

We walked into the place and the music was blasting - looked like a bar with stools . A young couple served us . They were pleasant enough however , the girl was on some kind of substance and they were giggling amongst themselves while pouring into plastic sample size cups . The wines were not horrendous , but not up to the quality we are used to . I will not be back , but it did give us something to talk about !

The girl presenting the wine was obviously impaired on drugs and served old wine. She spoke about how she was moving to CO to smoke marijuan. The old wines tasted spoiled and pour spouts were filthy.

This is a great winery in the mountains of northeastern pa, on route 487, 8 miles north of Ricketts Glen state park, just outside Lopez, pa. the owner Al makes about 6 different wines ranging from dry to sweet. the wife and i like his concord and niagra, and we sampled and bought a limited edition apple. (dosen't taste like it) we thought would be a good pairing for seafood. the wines vary in taste a little from barrel to barrel and year to year. a great place to stop and spend some time sampling and conversing. oh, and take some wine home!
