Not a far trip from Punxsutawney & nestled on a hill. If you think you took a wrong turn or your GPS is taking you the wrong place, just keep going. Tastings are free. Very good dry wines. Can't say anything about the sweet or semi-sweet ones as I didn't try them. Owner very personable and knowledgeable. Taught us all kinds of things about wine. This is one of the 2 wineries/vineyards in the area that actually grows their own grapes & processes the wine on-site. And, it's solar powered. They were out of the Marechal Foch however expected to bottle some that evening. Owner told us that she would call us the next day if the bottling had been done. And, it was! Back we went to buy bottles of it. I recommend this place to everyone. Extra perk: there was a geocache (www.geocaching.com) on the grounds for us to search too!

I'm a HUGE fan of their catawba grape wine, and the last that I tasted was their 2006 Catawba. It's absolutely wonderful. If you are ever in the area (or are visiting for the Groundhog Day festival), make it a point to stop by here and pick up a bottle of wine. The property is beautiful, and it's nestled out in the countryside. It's very beautiful here.
