Just started going to this theater this month and was blown away by their production of Les Miserables. I'm not a seasoned theater goer but have seen the production in Philadelphia and was so impressed with what they did in a small theater. I had read the reviews of it so knew how few props they used and really didn't even miss them because the singing was so good. (Though the tank picture was bizarre, sorry). I was never in the theater prior to it's restoration so I don't know how much has been done or needs still to be done but I think it is quaint and the money they've put into just he chandlers has to be a lot, they are beautiful. The seats were close but pretty comfortable. I'm not good at sitting for long periods of time due to pain conditions and I managed to last through the whole show with only getting up for intermission. With tickets only $42 for adults and $25 for children it sure beats driving into Philly for a nice night out .The cast and staff were very friendly and welcoming and my granddaughter was hooked as well. I've already bought tickets to see the Miracle Worker and am hoping it's as good. If so, I'll be a regular.

I saw the production of Les Miserable yesterday at the Media Theater. I was blown away by the performances. Don't expect a Broadway production because the theater is small and the seating is much smaller than NYC. However, I have been to several productions at this theater over the years and have never seen the level of talent of this production. The music and the singing is top level. For the price, you will be very happy you went.

This is a beautifully restored theatre that now features only musicals. Very comfortable, warm & welcoming with wonderful shows for kids and adults alike.

We saw the local production of Sunset Boulevard. It was professionally done with good music, nice lighting, talented singers and a flexible creative set.

We recently made our first visit to the Media Theater to see Sunset Blvd. We weren't quite sure what to expect but we were very pleased with the experience. We live in South Jersey and found the location very convenient, about a 40-minute drive from our home. Free parking right next to the theater is a nice plus compared to Center City or NYC. Of course, the $42 ticket price is also much more budget-friendly.The show itself was very good. The cast, headlined by Ann Crumb, a Tony nominee, was strong. There were many impressive voices among them and some excellent character actors. The seats were comfortable. The sound was crystal clear. The place isn't that big so you can't really get a bad seat. The theater has a balcony but I'm not sure if it is actually in use. I didn't see anyone up there. Concessions were reasonably priced - $2 for soda or water, $2 for candy, more for alcohol but still reasonable. And the people were all very friendly, happy to answer any questions we had about the theater or their performances. All in all, a very enjoyable evening. We will definitely return.

Went here for a Capitol Steps show as a fund raiser. Very old and needs renovation badly. At the end there was a HUGE delay in getting out, the crowd was moving like a slug. When I got to the front doors, only one was open, and low and behold, to my astonishment, ALL the other front doors were actually LOCKED - yeah, that's right, no crash-bar door to open to get out in case of emergency, I mean locked like a fire code violation. Avoid this place at all cost if you value your life while idiots run the insane asylum!

You need to come to the theater that I have enjoyed since my childhood, first as a movie theater and now as a professional live theater.

Went with friends for the first time to see a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The production was very well done. Very professional and affordable. Not Broadway but a very enjoyable evening.

Media competes with the best of broadway, features many of their stars, but also cultivates adult and children players throught its year round programs and classes. Their childrens series and senior discounts attract a wide audience. You participate in the production most of the time. There's only one Jesse Cline and Media's got him, with stellar support in all branches I have enjoyed. Attend usually once a month.

We love visiting our friends in Media and find so many great places to enjoy. The restaurants are wonderful, as is Ridley Park and the Tyler Arboretum. This trip we got an extra special treat. We attended a play at The Media Theater! We saw Monte Python's Spamalot and what a treat it was. The theater is large and very comfortable. The play itself was Broadway caliber. We were so very impressed and wished we had been attending shows there with ever visit to Media.I know in the future, every visit to Media will include a play at The Media Theater. FANTASTIC! How lucky people are who live in the area to have a live theater of such caliber.
