millbrook playhouse

While visiting family in PA I visited the Millbrook twice. First I went with my stepmom and Nana to see The Wizard of Oz...it was amazing! I know it's no longer playing, but wow what a show. Second my girlfriends and I went to the cabaret theater to see Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating Mating and Marriage...it was a hoot. The main character, Miss Abigail, was played by a terrific young man who really got the audience participating and dying of laughter. Also with the cabaret theater you can bring your own wine and snacks which was nice.I can't wait till next summers visit so I can go back!

We've become fans of the Millbrook Playhouse and try to catch as many shows as we can in one season. I especially like the Cabaret theater where you can bring in your own meals and sit at tables and eat while enjoying the shows. It's also BYOB which makes it nice if you want to have a glass (or two) of wine with your meal. The Playhouse does have a small concession stand for those folks who need a snack. And regardless of where you sit, you always have a great stage view. We thoroughly enjoy ourselves whenever we attend any event at the Playhouse!
