Outdoor malls might be great for warmer climes, but for NEPA (especially this Winter) having to bundle up to get from one store to the next can be bitterly cold. For the non-winter months the selections of stores are fairly good - especially for women's apparel. It is a long walk though, any season, the outdoor promenade to the other and older patrons, adults with small children or anyone with mobility issues - will find themselves parking and repacking around the mall especially with weather (see above).

Great selection of shops (with Christmas Tree Shop being the anchor) both upscale and middle of the road at a beautiful outdoor location very conveniently located close to several major highways. They also feature a number of great (chain) restaurants such as Ruby Tuesday and Johnny Rockets. Everything you need for a day out with the girls or a family outing.

As a local, I really enjoy the shopping here, if only for the walk & ever changing views. Located within view of the Montage Ski area & Wikes-Barre /Scranton Airport, the Shoppes really have spectacular views for every season. As for the shops themselves, there is a nice variety, something for everyone. For the ladies - Chico's, Talbots, Christopher & Banks, for the men - Joseph Banks, Olympia Sports (& many comfy benches with views), to the kids - a Carters & Justice, just to name a few. And who couldn't resist a trip through the Christmas Tree Shop? The Grandkids favorite is the yearly Halloween Parade around the entire complex. Each store hands out treats. Talk about candy overload! Check out their website for a full list of their offerings. We love the pizza place as well as Panera. Even if you aren't in the shopping mood, it's really a great place to stroll around on a Sunday afternoon, after having your fill of steak at The Long Horn located across the parking lot. Fall is the most scenic in my opinion, but on a warm sunny winter day, the view of the ski slope is pretty nice!

Many of the shops seem to cater to younger shoppers and the remaining are higher priced. I suppose I'm spoiled but I prefer to shop at a mall where I don't have to run in and out of shops espically in the cold

This is the only place for Wilkes- Barre/Scranton to shop at a Chico's. The Christmas Shop, Talbot s, and Paradise Bakery is always fun.

Really a nice spot. Decent stores, very well maintained. Substantially better than the Viewmont Mall and light years away from the Steamtown Mall.Worth a visit.

From the top at The Christmas Tree Shop all the way down to Icings the place is clean and well maintained. Such a huge variety of name brand places and great places to eat in or outside and enjoy the pretty views. I love it here.

Very easy to find off 81. Near Montage ski resort. Many great shops like J Crew, White House Black Market, Ann Taylor Loft, etc. I would love to see a Banana Republic Outlet here, Bed, Bath & Beyond or Crate & Barrel! One can wish. Very safe and clean. Best place to shop in the area.
