There were 4 of us they were very kind and patient my 3 kids were very scared and my daughter was crying and the owner took her time and showed my daughter what to do and calmed her down the horses were very quiet and kind They could be a little hard to steer but the trail guide explained that they are only trained to follow and could be hard to get out of line if they don't know you because they are therapy horses so there trasined different for safety but once they showed me how there horses were trained they listened very well we really enjoyed ourselves can't wait to return

I took a ride in the summer with my 8 year old daughter and boyfriend. My 8 year old has been taking riding lessons for about a year but was scared to ride the horse here. I think it was the different style, the female instructor was not empathetic to the situation and luckily her husband helped my daughter to feel more at ease. The horses walked on the side of a dirt rode so the ride was crooked and bumpy. I was running into a lot of trees which made the ride not really enjoyable. The horse had a hard time listening to me which again did not make it good for a beginner. Our appointment was also pushed back an hour because the people before were late. I got the call while I was on the road then we ended up waiting at the farm where there really wasn't anywhere to sit and wait. I wouldn't recommend this trail ride. If you like riding horses for leisure, definitely find a better place.

I am sorry that you were unable to go for a ride all trails were closed on saturday due to the state park having a maintenance issue and we were unable to you use the trails and on Sunday when we were at the farm it was down pour raining and thunder and lighting after checking the weather and it stating severe thunder storms all day we decided to close the barn for the day we did inform everyone as soon as we knew I am sorry for any inconvenience but we can not always control the weather and the opening of the state park trails we do our best accommodate people we always strive for safety first.

My boyfriend and I were looking for things to do in the area while we were vacationing in East Stroudsburg, and I happened to find a Groupon to this place. It was definitely one of the highlights of the trip! We're beginner riders, and our guide was great - she definitely made us feel comfortable and relaxed. It was a blast! We both said we would love to come back here when we're in the area again. :)

You will love the horses and the beautiful and scenic trail ride through the national park adjacent to the farm. Can't wait to do it again!

My boyfriend and I had so much fun on our private trail ride. It was our first time riding and I was a bit nervous. Our guide made me feel right at ease without being overly on top of me. She took my camera and captured some great pictures of the two of us. By the time we got back to the barn, I didn't want to get off the horse. Legend and Rocky were awesome horses and I loved hearing about the history of the barn and all the amazing work they do for the community. We will most definitely be back again. My wife and I decide to give this a go, being she had never been riding before. When we arrived, Aiyana, our guide got us prepped and ready. I must say, this experience should be enjoyed by young and old alike. The experience of a 1 hour trail ride, is like no other. Aiyana, was more than concerned that you thoroughly enjoyed your experience. The horses themselves seemed to also enjoy the outings, and my horse Rocky, well, I will never forget him. My wife, as a first time rider, was so comfortable with the whole experience that she is ready to do it again. Thank you so much Aiyana for a most memorable day, and we hopefully will return before summers end.
