If your in the New Castle, Pa. area between Thanksgiving and Christmas the Cascade Festival of Lights is a must see.
The Christmas light show at this park, Cascade of Lights - New Castle, is a pleasant, relaxing, drive through an old time Americana park. There is a $5.00 per carload entry fee which is acceptable. It's not a big park, but this is great for couples to add onto an evening out, or families with small children. The entry line is usually either very short and moving fast, or non-existent. My only complaint is that they do not instruct people to turn off their headlights while driving through the display. If you are driving a "shorter" car with an SUV or pickup truck behind you with their lights on, it can be annoying, if not downright blinding. I have even pulled over to let these people past me while going through the display. Other than that, it's a nice addition to your holiday plans and I would recommend.
Very nice park; enjoyed the 50s music and seeing the classic cars. Weather also cooperated. Everyone was very friendly. Met many nice people.
I love going to this park. They have something going on a lot. The park itself use beautiful. I recommend this park.
