Hey, I'll pass the kind words along to the employee team here. The are some great people to work with. Thank you for your visit. We appreciate it! - Farmer Hugh
The big maze can get long for little kids, but the Bamboo Maze is always a favorite for that age group. Some people come just for the Fun park and skip the big maze! Thank you for your visit. We appreciate it! - Farmer Hugh
Sounds like you did it all! Glad you and the gang had fun "getting lost" with us. Thank you for your visit. We appreciate it! - Farmer Hugh
Thank you for your visit. We appreciate it! Glad you got some doughnuts at the market, too. They are becoming famous. See you back next year! - Farmer Hugh
Thanks for your visit! September is the hidden secret. It's not crowded early in the season :-) See you next time! - Farmer Hugh
We got a groupon for this place, and the kids had a fantastic time there. Plenty of activities to keep them busy for hours. The pumpkin patch was huge, and full of great pumpkins. Wonderful memories with the family.
The large maze is always fun, but the Fun Park really puts itself over the top with the myriad of small fun mazes that are enjoyable for kids and people of all ages. The pumpkin patch and the apple orchard make this a real destination trip that can serve to make for a wonderful day. The apple dumplings in the farm market are always a great way to fuel up for the drive home!
Every year Maize master creates a themed corn Maize. Day time fun to be had, but try it by flashlight at night! The store has snacks and the best warm donuts that I have ever tasted! They also have a bamboo maze that tells your fortune. This is a must for a fall road trip.
This is beyond fun! I went last year (when it was Robin Hood) with my siblings and parents, and we're planning on going sometime soon! For anyone who hasn't been before, regardless of what the temperature says, it will get pretty toasty walking around in a giant cornfield under the sun, so wear layers and good walking shoes! The name "corn MAZE" should be changed to corn labyrinth, but it's still fun. The smaller mazes challenge people to use their imagination and creativity, which is a nice refresher from the hoards of technology. Prices are cheap (kids 13 and under are $8, adults are $10), food is good (although we brought a picnic sort of thing instead), and is definitely something to try and do with the family.
i loved just hanging out there with my grandbabies, we ate, walked and of course got lost in the maze. and to think i am the smart one, the grand babies found me. Also it is cute the way they have different things to do with each maze. You got to go check it out.
A well run and organized set of maze activities! The place has interesting types of maze's that appeal to all ages. Visit the orchard next door early in the morning to pick your own apples, then hit the Maze's.
A corn maize for kids but the whole family can have lots of fun.
Maize Quest has fun things to do for family members of all ages. There are numerous mazes suitable for older children and adults and lots of activities that are great for the smaller kids. They have several places for grandparents to sit and relax if they’re not up to all the walking and a snack bar so everyone can get re-fueled.We had a great time the day that we went. Since I am the grandparent I didn’t have the energy to keep up with my kids and grandkids, although I tried, so it was nice to have somewhere to sit and relax. The things I liked most were the corn and bamboo mazes, pedal carts and the wagon ride to the pumpkin patch. Most of the younger members of our family really enjoyed the fun zone, tube slide and cow train. We will be returning to this maze in the future and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for this type of entertainment.
My son and I love this place. If your looking for a fun activity for a fall day this is the spot. The corn maze is quite challenging and I love the fact that there is a puzzle with clues in the maze to look for. The other 20+ mazes are fun also. When we finshed the mazes we took a wagon ride to the pumkin patch and picked pumkins. They also have a farm where you can pick several types of apples (all good) and a store to buy snacks and baked goodsI would recommed packing a picknic lunch and enjoying you day
Maize Quest is a great place for the whole family to have fun, exercise and use their minds. My children are 3, 4 and 6 and they love it. The inside play area is great for 2 hours of fun in the winter time. Outside there are many mazes and pedal karts that my children love. It is nice to bring a picnic lunch or dinner or Maize Quest has inexpensive options for you, too. We have not tried the large corn maze as I feel the children are too little but for older kids I'm sure it is a lot of fun, especially in the dark. If you live in Northern MD or Southern PA it is a great place to spend time with your family.
