Filthy every time. From dirty bathrooms to no napkins or empty ketchup dispensers this Mcd's is awful. For a flagship restaurant it's embarrassing. Avoid it.
I stopped at the museum while I was heading to the Pennsylvanian ski resorts. I wanted to "visit" the historic Lincoln Highway (route 30) - known as the first road to cross America from coast to coast - where the museum is located. I was surprised by the history of Big Mac. I did not know it was created as a product particularly geared towards adults in 1967. I had never noticed the difference between the Big Mac and other sandwiches. Actually it was created as a real meal. Having an MBA in Marketing I did know that Macdonald's is an example of successful business that keeps similar product features all over the world. Yet I was quite surprised to see how close the jingles and ads were to the Brazilian version - just translated. Also I liked very much the "evolution" of the Big Mac box. On top of that: the staff is really friendly and some of them even had Xmas costumes on. To conclude: it is a good free class on Successful Marketing strategies.
If you need an indoor playground area, this is the place to go. Clean, pleasant, great for party or just stop to learn some history.
This was an interesting McDonald's with a HUGE Big Mac. It was nice meeting Ruthie there too, she is 93 and loves working there for the last 20 years. She was a great host to the museum and she took our picture with the creator of the Big Mac and he is still living and a few years older than she is. I believe Ruthie said he was 96 and now his son owns that McDonald's. A lot of history here about McDonald's and a very nice staff. The Big Mac that we ordered and ate tasted really great and it was very special to be at the place where the Big Mac was created. I think those that were eating there thought we might be a little crazy taking so many pictures while they were eating. Oh, I took my picture with Ruthie too. I looked her up online and found pictures of some of the birthday parties she at McDonald's and she loves to dance too. She really made the experience great and she has fabulous customer service and McDonald's should aspire to hire more Ruthies as this would help with the customer experience.
I usually don't eat McDonalds but the two times that I have been here the food was really good. We always have a special order but we received prompt and friendly service. The restaurant was clean, however, we didn't use the bathrooms. Even our french fries were good.
Service is slow, the orders are usually wrong, the ketchup is empty, and there is nothing clean about this place, no matter when you go.
First, let me say I love McDonald's, but the quality of your staff is way below par at least for your evening staff. We actually went their 2 days in a row giving you a second chance. The first day went through the drive through around 9-10 pm.OMG! ordering a milkshake and a fry was waiting for the biggest order you have ever received! We have 2 cars in front of us which was at least 10 minute wait and that's being nice. When we finally got to the window the said you are waiting for a Carmel sundae no repeated our order they were laughing handing our cold fries and still had to wait for shake ugh!Next day we decided to go in...what a mistake staff talking with friends ignoring us.other staff doing drive thru...manager on duty ignoring us.Had to speak up to be waited on.Get our order our large fries are half full. Had to wait another 10-15 minutes to get a huge cheesburger meal!Last month same thing.Your staff is by worse aweful.I put up with a lot being a business owner but this is putting a bad name out for mcdonalds!!!
This is just a mcdonalds people there is no museum their May be memorabilia from mcdonalds of yesteryear but people this is simply a mcdonalds the same mcdonalds on every street corner and the service is below par even for company standard
Always clean. Always inviting. I would rather drive 5 miles out of my way to go to this McDonalds just because its that much better than any other one I have been in.
Very nice clean play area with lots of McDonalds/Big Mac memoribelia. We stopped here and got drinks while the kids played in a very nice playplace. Worth a stop but not a complete detour.
Nice area to eat inside. Same food as any McDonalds. Service was fast and easy access to main highway.
One of the places my daughter wanted to visit when we moved to Pittsburgh. It was a little bit of a drive for us from where we are (and for a McDonald's?!) but honestly, I loved it! The Big Mac is, of course, the big draw, but the other displays are very interesting!
This is a nice Mc.D's. It has alot of interesting things relating to Big Mac&McD's coming up thru the years. It has a playplace which is handy since its off the turnpike&gives kids a chance to blow off some pent up energy (you know what I mean folks lol).Worth a stop&look, but don't think this is the Smithsonian Museum for Big Mac...It's a restaurant after all.
Lots of cool memorabilia to see and articles to read. I had "eating a big Mac" on my bucket list and that's where I wanted to go have on! I loved it and the bun was so fresh. Glad we went there.
live it!!! who love the big mac!!!! its the birth place of it
