eldreth pottery factory showroom and tour

It is in the middle of nowhere but worth the trip. Prices are high but considering everything is handmade it is worth it. Being able to watch things being made and being able to get custom made stuff is a bonus. Depending on which road you take in there is a covered bridge on the way as well.

The Eldreth Pottery is a pretty cool place to visit. Not at all what we expected, but in a good way.Small Factory hidden away in a beautiful area.Note: getting there takes you on some roads that only have room for one vehicle and some roads that barly have room for two.The people there were great, and of course they have a large selection of pottery.Prices are a little on the up side, but then again its hand made, hand painted, in the USA !

Friendly staff and pottery artists provide a casual tour through the entire facility. Watch the artists paint the pottery and see the kilns where the treasures are fired. The showroom has something for everyone....Statues, plates, vases, lamps, Christmas items, bird houses, bird feeders, crocks, pitchers, custom designed personalized special occasion gifts, etc. The only problem is deciding which pieces to buy to take home. Located off the beaten path among Amish farms, but the GPS will take you right to the door. Don't miss this experience.

This is a great place to take friends who are visiting the area. It's impossible to just stop in and not end up buying something. The product is first class and the staff knowledgeable.

This factory tour is a must while in the Lancaster area. It is fun to speak with and watch each artist while they are doing their craft. They explain each step in the process of creating an end product. The factory is out there in the country but it will be worth the trip. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. No fee for the tour. There is a gift shop that you can purchase any of the many items that have been made right there. The tour is M-F and on Saturday from 10-5. Enjoy
