Stopped by to check this winery out and offers 6 complimentary tastings. We love sweeter wines and there were plenty to choose from. There were several Spumante wines as well. They do have a pizza place that also serves sangrias, 3 to choose from the day we visited- strawberry, citrus red and pineapple. The first 2 were out favs and we enjoyed a glass with a cheese and cracker plate, $8. We would have loved to try the pizza but we just had some the night before for dinner not knowing about this place. Rest assured we will return to try. They offer tours, pizza making nights for groups, wine and art night and so much more! Friendly folks!
Pizzeria was very good. We tried a plain and a meat lovers. Both were very tasty. A mozzarella and tomato salad was also very good, balsamic dressing was perfect. Had a glass of wine that was also good. One complaint was the restaurant was extremely cold. People were eating with their coats on. I don't believe there is any heat in the restaurant aside from a wood stove.
A great place to visit whether you are local or a tourist! They have an awesome selection of wines and delicious pizza :)
We went to Cherry Valley for the first time on Sunday. I was delighted to see that they offered 3 kinds of sangria: citrus, pineapple and strawberry. We ordered an Hawaiian pizza and it was very good . They bake them in a wood-fired oven. Be advised that it is thin crust only. During the summer they have awhile wheat crust. There is live music every Sat. And Sunday.
It was a very good experience. ..the wine tastings room was closed due to the weather but the on site pizzeria was accommodating and very friendly. we will definitely be coming back.
This winery has a great tasting room with lots of fruit wines to taste, along with the classics. Don't miss their building with the brick oven pizzas and sangrias. To die for.
Fine food, fine wine. I have been coming here for years an it just gets better every year. Always very festive....enough to break the winter blues.
Sangria was great, live acoustic music was awesome, and pizza was fantastic! Everything fresh, highly recommend this place!
Just finished our Valentine's day dinner and everything was delicious. The Michaelangelo pizza was amazing. So flavorful and made with fresh ingrediants. My husband had the eggplant special and it was so good! The strawberry sangria was my favorite! Sweet and refreshing! Can't wait to return!
We had the peach sangria they let us sample before we buy it was amazing! First time here and I'm definitely coming back again.. Also thinking about using the wine for my wedding!! So awesome! Staff is excellent as well. Thank you Sorrenti!!
Wine and brick oven pizza and wraps that are wonderful! Nice cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices =very good combination!
The food was out of this world, and the sangrias were delicious as well. My family and I will absolutely be coming back here. I also appreciated the acoustic music being played by a very talented musician.
My husband and I visit the winery every time we visit PA. This however was the first time that we visited their Pizza Restaurant. We entered the winery and purchased our case and a half of wine and then we gave our coupon we were sent in the mail. We then went over to the pizza place were we were greeted with friendly staff. We order pizza and got our free pitcher of Sangria (because we are club members). The pizza was great and the service was great too. They had live music (some of the songs were good) they were a little older than us so I didn't know all the songs they were playing but they were good. We had a good time and would recommend this to anyone in the area. It is a must see.
The best pizzaDrove two hours to get here and it is worth the driveStart with wine tastings and finish with a great wood oven pizza
We had a busy day visiting holiday themes attractions and flea markets in the area. We were looking for a place to have nice dinner and decided to come here. They don't come up on my GPS and neither does their address. I found it on Google Maps and used the GPS on my phone to get here. The road is dark and there are no signs for the turn, so I missed it twice. It would be if they had some signs on the main road where to turn to get there. Once there, we parked and we knew it was busy from the parking lot. We didn't do the winery tasting and went straight to the restaurant. My suggestion to others is go do the tasting since they server their wines in the restaurant and you'll know what to order.Seating took a few minutes because of how busy they were. That was understandable. We hadn't tried the sangria, they have 3, so we asked to sample. We chose the red. I liked it, my companion didn't and she asked about a red wine. They gave her some samples to try and she picked the Cabernet. For dinner my companion ordered the chicken and pasta in white sauce. It came with a flatbread and salad. The flatbread or breadsticks were huge. The only bad thing was the entrée, the breadsticks and the salad all came at once. She enjoyed all of it though.I ordered the prosciutto pizza. It was excellent. The sauce is amazing. They had entertainment last night. A 10 year old boy playing guitar, harmonica and singing. He was amazingly good an very poised. The staff here is so nice and really tries to make your visit enjoyable. They were great despite how busy it was.The food is excellent and the wine isn't bad, but it is Pennsylvania wine and not to the caliber of the west coast.
