mount pisgah state park

Just spent the last 3 days here, on an early Pennsylvania (Senior) deer hunt. Wow, what beautiful land, bordered by farm land, with surrounding State Game land & Bradford County land. Stephen Foster lake is beautiful, with clean restrooms, lots of parking spots, & great fishing access.There are numerous hiking trails (well-marked & described).The Park Ranger & his assistant were so friendly & helpful, they made you feel "right at home", & offered their assistance & welcomed us back anytime.If you want a really enjoyable & peaceful, relaxing experience, than this is the place to visit. You know, we seem to always complain about where our "tax dollars" go, but if you want a pleasant surprise, Mount Pisgah State Park will enlighten you a bit, & you will surely agree that this would fit the description of "Money well spent".By the way, I shot a doe on the 2nd day of our hunt, right off "Marsh hawk trail". Happy hunting, fishing, hiking, & just relaxing gang. Enjoy

Mt. PIsgah is a beautiful area with a lake, where you can boat or fish, walking trails, a pool for swimming and pavillions for reunions and get togethers. A beautiful area to visit and spend some time.

When we were there it was really quite and the fall foliage was beautiful! It seems like a great place for family and just relaxing!

I love this place! I take my grandchildren here for some fishing. Once in a while we do the free pool, but sense I have my own, we don't go to often. It is a great pool and a place you can buy hot dogs and such at a reasonable price! Peaceful and enjoyable time.

Nice trip to lake. They sponsor event for kids to appreciate outdoors. Wonderful picnic accommodations. The pavilions are great for reunions. Pool and volleyball court.

Good fishing and even a decent trail to hike around the park. You can rent a small boat and kayaks out for an hour or the entire day. The pool is open during the summer but is usually packed, especially on hot summer days. This park is also a great place to have a picnic as well. In addition to that, the view is pretty cool as well.
