We recently attended a performance at the recently remodeled theater. We arrived early because we did not have reservations. My wife and I took our grandson to the performance of the Hobbit and he enjoyed it tremendously. We had attended two prior performances and we enjoyed them also. We were very surprised to see the new seating. The seats are tiered so you can see adequately from anywhere. The performance was very entertaining. As I said earlier our grandson who is six years of age hardly moved during the entire performance. We are looking forward to taking him to another in the near future.
This theatre produces family entertainment in a variety of capacities including musicals, plays, and special events. The organization's mission is to educated, which they have done incredibly well with camps and classes. I enjoy the performances and have enjoyed seeing the fruits of the labor of the staff at all levels. A great place for families!
Two of my kids have been in plays at DreamWrights. It's a converted old factory (if I remember correctly), with an old time theater feel to it. The plays have always been very well directed and the cast is well prepared for their rolls in the show. They usually take donations afterwards to help fund the cost, and you can rent costumes from there throughout the year if you need too. It's not the Radio City Music hall by any stretch but it's a very nice community theater where kids can learn the arts and adults get a good show for a fair priced ticket.
The kids were very energetic and exciting. Plenty of free parking. Snacks available during intermission.
My first time going to see a play here and even though it may not have been what I expected it was so funny and everyone was amazing. Not sure when the next time I'm coming back to the area but I would love to go again!
I saw a recent production of Annie. I enjoyed seeing a cast of actor of all ages, experience, and background working together to put on an enjoyable show!
This a youth/family theatre that depends on volunteer actors for shows. I have never seen a show there, and cannot comment on quality. We do go there for classes, which are excellent. Instructors are patient and enthusiastic, have solid theater training, and enjoy what they do.
