youngwood historical and railroad museum

Visited when the Fish fry was featured during Lent. Nice little place in a historical location. The fish was good and the price was right.

Youngwood Railroad, an old railroad station converted to a historic railroad museum. tons of pictures and literature of how Youngwood grew with the railroads back in the day and how Youngwood grew with the jobs the railroads created.

locals have worked so hard and it is a wonderful place to compile and save the local history. Both my grandfather's worked on the railroad and it is a really special place for many....

Located on Depot St, just off RT 119 S, easy to get to. It is a small place but they need more volunteer's & money to make it all happen. We spent 2 hrs. looking at their displays and talking to the people who run it. They were very knowledgeable which made it enjoyable.
