Nice layout after combining an original nine with a new nine. Played the ball down the whole time, greens were good even though they had been recently top-dressed. Nice clubhouse.

I look forward every year to returning to IRGC. This course has enough challenge for the better golfer but is also inviting for the new golfer. The setting is so lovely! The course features lots of woods, beautifully tended fairways and greens, and enough water hazards to make the game interesting. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, and after your round, you can enjoy a lunch, a snack or drinks at the Greenside Grille. Food service is also available at the turn. The practice range is not the most convenient, but apart from that, it is a very enjoyable course and the greens fees are very competitive.

In an area of many golf courses, this course is at the top. Don't let the picturesque landscape fool you. There are many holes, that will challenge even the most seasoned golfer. With the large dining room in the clubhouse, and pro shop, stocked with everything you could need for a day on the course, you will find the Indian River Golf Course, is the total package.

An enjoyable round of golf awaits on this well maintained northern Michigan course. The subtle undulating greens test many. The gracious staff exhibits their welcoming attitude from the moment you arrive to the time of your departure. The family atmosphere is demonstrated throughout the facility and the restaurant's menu provides a variety of choices for all.

This course has everything. The course is challenging with water and sand and doglegs going both to the right and left. Greens run true. The average golfer will have fun and will score like it is their home course. The back tees will test any player. The club house has a nice proshop and the restaurant has great food and makes everyone feel welcome.

Indian River Golf Club is an excellent tract situated in a beautiful area of Northern Michigan. The course is 18 holes with practice range and green. The course is both scenic and challenging and a great value. Although the club has a large fleet of carts, walking is allowed-- and that alone sets IRGC apart from many other courses in the area.Indian River Golf Club also boasts a fine restaurant and a beautiful deck overlooking the 9th green-- a great place for a beverage and to settle your bets!!

Challenging yet affordable 18 hole course carved in the woods of Northern Michigan. Golf range and putting green available for practice. Friendly fairways, greens and pro-shop/restaurant personnel. Open to the public from April 1- November 1. Definitely need to add it to your list of "great things to do in Indian River"!
