Flint is so lucky to have a first class orchestra like the FSO.Guest performers join the FSO at the Whiting on a regular basis. Check the website for scheduled events.I really enjoy the free concerts in the summer, including the Saginaw Street stage at the "Back to the Bricks" festival and also the free concert out at Crossroads village for the patriotic concert around the 4th of July.The Holiday Pops concert during the Christmas holidays is broadcast on local TV as well as on various PBS stations around the state of Michigan.
