Always smiling and friendly staff members. Great variety of films both IMAX and smaller screens. Special CocaCola machines with wide variety of flavors. Self serve butter machines allow lots of butter for popcorn.
Huge venue, great screens and sight lines.Brand new facility, looks like something out of "Metropolis" from the outside.Loved the seats: lots of legroom with no crazy reclining.Even when extremely busy, the theatre flowed, with PSA about movies that had sold out, etc..Lots of parking and easy to find. Why drive to Royal Oak when you can come to Grand Blanc?
Don't get me wrong, this is a very nice, clean, pleasant theater. It's just the fact that it's the only theater "nearby". We live in the middle of three different theaters, all of which are ~30 minutes away. At this point in time, every theater is roughly on par with the others. This is probably the newest theater of the ones we typically go to, and although it isn't more costly, or dirty, or anything, it's just the theater scene in general being so much more expensive than it used to be.Objectively, the theaters here are laid out easily to navigate on your own, bathrooms are reasonably spaced apart, although being a die hard film buff, I hate to have to walk so far to use the restroom when that time comes (fortunately, it hasn't happened yet...).Concessions are all take place at the same place in which you buy your tickets, which kind of makes sense, but can be difficult for those that want a movie without snacks (definitely not me). Luckily, they have a free rewards program in which you buy so-much stuff, you get a free ticket every so-often.The pictures are clean, and the seats are quite pleasant. Although, my other gripe is that these theaters are constantly playing annoying commercials for local businesses. I'm fine with the little guy trying to make a buck, but when I'm at a theater, I don't want to be seeing commercials for my dentist, or the like.Due to the weird selection of commercials pre-film, I would rank this as average. When I'm at a theater, I'd much more enjoy seeing commercials to films about to arrive, or have the simple quizzes about movies already out.The other thing is that this theater often cancels the rewards program for recent releases, and offers strange times (occasionally) for showtimes.
We took the grandsons to watch a Disney movie. It was very clean and nice. Easy to see the feature. The first preview was a little too loud.
Buy your ticket from the same person that gets your popcorn and soda. Several movie options, very clean and well maintained. Pleasant and helpful staff. We've been here on a few occasions - it's our 'go too' place on a rainy afternoon or when we just want to kick back and veg.
This place has a lot of great movies I'd love to go see, but the only accessibility they have for Deaf customers is headsets that are not very loud. That doesn't help the majority of Deaf viewers. So we go to another movie theater way over on the other side of Flint to watch captioned movies rather than patronize this one. It IS very impressive, with an awesome snack bar. So if you don't need captioning, this is the place to go. If it had captioning, I'd be here every weekend! Sigh....
Very upbeat venue. up to date movies...lots of amenities including game room! Can be a little expensive but great reclining seats, many restrooms !
We do not go any place other than the trillium for movies, clean and the employees are always nice. prices are ok but could run more specials for families
One of newer theathers in the area I like it's location. Somewhat pricey for a movie and snacks but worth while for an enjoyable night out, one can enjoy viewing the movie in comfort with the reclining seats, and restrooms are in close proximity. Well kept - CLEAN!
I am a movie buff and this place is not your typical place, that charges more for the popcorn, than the tickets. Great seats, great prices and you'll love the fresh made popcorn, not the stale ten hour old stuff. All the butter you care to pour on too boot! Enjoy!
The first thing I noticed about this particular theater is the quick pace at which they process their customers. Did not wait very long inline for tickets, popcorn, etc.The hold up comes after that, they have a popcorn station, where you can add more butter, different seasonings, but it is so small only two people at a time can make their popcorn. If you have not been to this theater before you want to see what the seasonings are causing a backup. On this occasion a problem was only one of the butter pumps was working. This theater also has the touch screen Coke Machine that makes 100+ flavor combination but again, little bit of an issue when your trying to fill your cup and waiting for the carbonation to dissipate so you can fill your cup. The theater itself is clean, no garbage cans overflowing, like I have seen at other theaters! The floor was clean, I was not walking on popcorn, or kicking over buckets, and drinks from previous movies. Some of the rows had more leg room than other rows, which is kind of strange, but the seat was comfortable which is important. The bathroom is something else to be desired, smells like someone sprayed urine all over the bathroom. All together it is a decent theater, will visit again.
NCG Trillium is the best theater around this area! The theaters and restrooms are always clean, and they have the best movie theater popcorn around! The NCG Club Card is a nice feature as it's always nice once we earn that free movie ticket!
Always a clean and inviting theatre. The food prices have been getting crazy high lately. Tickets are $8, but popcorn, drink, and a candy will cost you almost $15. Love the IMAX and 3D theatres too.
Trillium is truly a nice theater - the staff is fairly friendly, they have free refills on soft drinks and package deals on popcorn, pop, etc.... its a no fuss-no muss proposition as it's located off of Holly Rd in Grand Blanc - a safe, quiet environment compared to larger metropolitan areas yet close enough to I-75 to be the theater of choice for people from all over Genesee county as well as northern Oakland and even Livingston county.
We took our niece and nephew to see a movie on Good Friday. The theater was swamped due to the holiday. The lines were very long and the concession lines took a very long time.
