Went to see their show mid-January at the Ladies Literary Club in G.R. (Great historic venue!)One caveat - This is a group associated with a well know Dutch-Conservative College in the area and as such the audience too is decidedly more conservative than you might expect from a 'comedy show'. (The troupe solicited ideas for different scenarios from the audience and one obviously anti-President genius blurted out "Obama abducted by aliens" to open the show.) With that said, it's a good, clean, HILARIOUS performance from some of the most creative local talents you can imagine. No 'genitalia' jokes or crude references to women's anatomy, and it is truly a great show.

Got tickets as a Christmas gift and wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of the performance and the energy of the room. I had more fun with my family then what I anticipated. My kids loved it, and we will be going again.

RCI has been giving great improv shows for over 20 years and we've been to many performances. They are a lot of fun, high energy and great for a date night, group of friends or a family (with slightly older kids, at least 8 or 9). Never disappointed!

When it comes to entertainment, River City Improv gives you bang for your buck. Inexpensive tickets, great for the whole family and the show is never the same. The cast is very funny and they are really a GR hidden gem.

Went with my wife and loved it. Decided to bring my parents and our kids the next time and they loved it. So we found it great fun for kids 13 to Grandparents age. This is becoming a annual tradition, already have tickets again for this year.

There are not many comedy events where you can take the whole family and not be embarassed, insulted, or humiliated. This is one where you can. The audience varied in age from 6 or so to well beyond retirement, like me. I took my grandson and we both had a good time. Everyone was laughing and participating. A night of nonstop fun. Admission is reasonable - $10 for adults, $5 for students.

This is a night of non stop laughs. We have done this more than once, you will never know who is going to be there performing that night and since it is Improv what is going to happen. Laughing is something that will happen though non stop. Go early as it fills up to get good seats. Do not forget to get your picture taken before the show. They have props there for you to grab, smile and they snap the picture, then they place on their facebook page for you to see and even copy.
