I have gone many times, they do a great job and change up their exhibits. Great price so you can take your family
We were the only patrons in this clean-two-story museum which features much on the lives of General Custer and his wife Libbie and other local history. Nice displays and historical artifacts. Admission is free but donations accepted.
We stopped here while doing the River Raisin Heritage Trail, which includes 20 stops around the city of Monroe, Michigan. The museum is located in an old post office building, and features numerous exhibits. The highlight is the 2nd floor, filled with a massive amount of artifacts relating to General George Armstrong Custer, native son of Monroe. My kids really enjoyed the interactive dress-up exhibit, as well as the brief film about Custer. We will definitely be back to check out the other exhibits when we have more time.
Took my son here for a visit as we had not been here in a few years and it did not disappoint. Some of the items have moved around but still good. The second floor has a lot of General Custer items.
