Well placed, out of the ordinary business lunch atmosphere. Good service, food presentation wonderful, and tasty!.
I went for a private function. The main course was delicious. The salad and desserts were poor. The ambiance was nice.
An organization I am on puts on a bi-annual conference there and we have been very pleased. It is also close to my house and I've put up guests there and occasionally dined there. The hotel restaurant was very nice (but was in the middle of heavy renovations last I checked). It is a good value for a hotel restaurant and a great place to go for a business meeting where you don't want crowds and noise. The facility is a former Catholic seminary and still has a very Catholic theme.
We attended a three-day conference and the facility and staff were great. The food was very good for a conference center and the meeting rooms had free wi-fi.
Our son's wedding reception was in the atrium room, It was a beautiful venue. We experienced white glove service and the wait staff assigned to the bridal party addressed them by name. They know what they're doing there.
A wonderful place to have a wedding.Having the chapel, hotel, and reception all in one place is the best way to host a wedding....especially when most of the guests are from out of town.!!!Beautiful scenery for great wedding photos!!!All of my daughter's wedding guests loved the venue!!!
It was just okay. Considering how many great restaurants are in the area, this place needs to significantly improve its food and service. It may have just been an off-day, but I don't think so. The attitude of the employees was poor. The employees all seemed completely self-involved and ignored all of the guests.
This was my first actual overnight stay. My company has a large conference here every year with several hundred in attendance. Although it has no reward program, I was a little cheaper, and I was only staying a couple nights, so I thought I'd give it a try. What a mistake. The room I was in was beat up, tired, and way over-due for a makeover. The sink was falling out of the countertop in the bathroom, and left a gap big enough I could stick a finger in it. It dropped the sink down far enough that the plunger in the bottom could barely open enough to allow water to drain. I looked underneath and it was actually being held together with one metal strap and a handful of zip ties. Crazy. The cabinetry was all dinged up as well. The wall paper was starting to peel, and there was a light out in the bathroom over the sink. Additionally, when I walked in the room and turned on the television, they had the ubiquitous Lodge Net system. Not very many decent channels, and no HBO or any other type of movie channel. Booooooo. There was also no channel guide. I called twice to inquire about getting one. It never came. Also, I need to be able to work from my room. Their internet is not secure enough, and my company computer would not allow me to get out onto the internet. There was either no certificate, or it was old, and not secure. My own Verizon Wireless antenna would not work either. It works everywhere else in this area. The breakfast, while free, was nothing to get excited about either. Hot stuff was cool or cold, and cold stuff was close to room temp. The restaurant staff was nice though, and very accommodating. I was scheduled to stay there two nights. After my first encounter, I canceled my second night's stay and booked in the Hilton Garden Inn around the corner, which is where I normally stay. I'm back there this week for the whole week and am so glad. It's the best hotel in the area for business travel.
One of the best venues for a wedding I have attended. Great service, staff was attentive and food was amazing.
St. John's is a beautiful golf course with a ton of history. I like to take advantage of their twilight rates. It is a great way to enjoy the courses for a more reasonable price.
A charity that I am on the board of has hosted an annual fund raising golf outing at St Johns for years. Each year it is just better and better. What an outstanding venue with the service and food quality to match. Our golf outing sells out each year (220 people) in large part due to the quality that is St Johns. Thanks to all of you for doing such an outstanding job.
My daughter's wedding was September 7, 2013. We chose the Inn at St. John's because it was absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect. We were more than satisfied with the entire experience. Andrea Hanson was our wedding coordinator and she was fantastic! She made the entire experience so pleasant...we worried about nothing!!!The staff in the Grand Ballroom the night of the wedding was impeccable!!! Our guests remarked that they had never been to a wedding this amazing...that we knocked it out of the park...and thanks to The Inn and all their staff we had an amazing evening of enchanted elegance!!!
This is a lovely, well-maintained golf course on the grounds of a historic Catholic seminary (now conference center and hotel. The scenery is very relaxing and there are lots of trees and rolling hills. There's a four or five star hotel on the property and a five-star restaurant, along with a grill for golfers. The chapel is gorgeous and quite unique; it's popular for many weddings.
Nice well kept golf course. Beautiful. I've been there for a few events other than just golfing and the food is excellent, the staff is professional and the facility is great, Classy.
Very scenic golf course. Well maintained and challenging for the golfer of any level. Staff is very helpful and professional. Great location, easy to get to and away from the crowds.
