Good variety each season. Typically includes a comedy, musical, and drama or two. Actors are quite good. Venue is small, so every seat is good. No obstructed view seating. Ticket prices are quite reasonable too. We've been going there for years. Great alternative to traveling to productions downtown Detroit.
We went to see a Christmas Carol. It was well done. Loved the costumed singers in the beginning. They did a great job interacting with the audience. A great little theater with quality performances.
Going to Meadow Brook Theater for their Christmas Carol performance is an annual family tradition. The performance is always perfect and well received by our children.
Is there no end For those who find it necessary to be filling the endless "pie hole"Even at live theatre......???????Munching .....paper wrappers....etc.....Stop it ....Surprised yet disappointed in the "policy" to permitt food in the theatre......absurdWe were "Rent Angels"...... For many years.... With the lax rules we no longer wanted support such policies Once a wonderful theatre event .....resulted in the masses taking it way too far We no longer attend nor support.
Never disappointed with the creativity and performance. The first play of the season Around the World in 80 Days was outstanding!! Looking forward to rest of the plays.
The theater is very professional. It isn't overwhelmingly large, so every seat offers a great view. The stage is front and center. The set, lighting, and acting are too notch. A great place to spend an evening.
A great theatre to check out if you are in the area. I have attended many productions over the years. The auditorium has stadium seating for about 600 people. There really are no bad seats. The acting and singing have always been Broadway quality. Sets are very well done. Their rendition of "A Christmas Carol" is an annual sell out and, having seen it several times, I highly recommend it for families. While there are many wonderful theatre opportunities in the area, this is one not to be missed!
First act was entertaining, but second half was super funny. Meadowbrooke theatre is a nice place, decent prices to see plays. Parking across the street.
We enjoy our theater experience there. Good productions are the norm. The acting and singing are generally top notch.
Meadow Brook Theatre has it all! Enjoy an evening or matinee performance with family, friends or children to experience professional theater that offers a variety of drama, comedy, adventure.
Great professional theater on the university campus.. No bad seats. Love the musicals. We have season tickets and the box office is ALWAYS great about exchanging our seats. We love Meadowbrook theatre!
We have seen many plays here throughout the last few years including the annual Christmas play and the rotating schedule. We have enjoyed almost every play, some more than others, but the cast has been great every time.
This wonderful theater has been a favorite for many years . The small theater offers a wonderful seat no matter where one sits. The season is always full of great productions including the annual CHRISTMAS CAROL .
We have been enjoying musicals and plays at this theater numerous times over the last three years. The actors are professional and nationally known. Usually the cast is small - 5 - 7 main characters. The set design is very good, and the live musicians and great. We have seen every genre, but especially like the comedies and musicals.Tickets are reasonably priced, and there is not a bad seat in the house. However, our favorite location is 8 - 12 rows back, center stage. There are several restaurants nearby which make for a great date night. Evening performances are at 8 PM, and there are matinee times available on the weekends. Each play runs about 5 weeks, and the season is from October through June. Special shows are offered throughout the summer months.
I recently went to see Les Mis and was originally worried about my seating. I soon realized there was not a bad seat in the house. I could here every note and see all the action on stage. I would go back without hesitation.
