What makes this mall unique? It's the skylight going from one section of the mall to the other. No doubt, it is a beautiful, upscale mall and is one of my favorite malls in MI. But it is not the best of the best as some people think. What about Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas orSawgrass Mills in FL? If you've been at those two, you know what I mean. Nevertheless Somerset Mall is a beautiful place to shop. There is a great food court as well as some great restaurants ( California Pizza Kitchen, J Alexander, etc...) As far as the customer service goes, it depends on a store. Neiman Marcus perfume department was outstanding (ask for Linda), so was Nordstrom store. Macy's good for the most part. I am a big fan of high end woman's boutiques such as White House Black Market and Chico's. All the associates at White House Black Market at Somerset were great except two maybe, while Chico's was as worst as it gets. Had to set up a fitting room all by myself, no help at all, lot's of associates at this Chico's were asking bunch of personal questions and excessively addressed me as sweetie, sweetheart and such, but did not offer any help in what I needed the most - help me to set up a fitting room. Just doesn't add up. Seems like this particular Chico's boutique is poorly managed and I will not shop here again. But i am definitely planning to come back to this beautiful mall and shop at other stores.

The best upscale mall in Michigan all brand are in one roof, i used to go there once a month to apple store and macys.Last time i went there in nov 2014 in black Friday but did not find great deals as expected, i think because of all the BIG brands in the mall. I still recommend somerset to anyone wants upscale shopping mall or just walking around and spend the day in a warm atmosphere during the cold weather, there are good restaurants in somerset!!

At Christmas time it just beautiful! Best place for Santa pictures. Great food court with lots of variety. Parking is good and easy. Lots of stores you don't have in most malls so it's a great place to go. My kids love the moving sidewalk that crosses over the street to the other part of the mall. Highly recommend going

WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE the beauty and awe of this experience. The employees in each store I visited seemed to be warm and friendly... Like they loved working at this mall... Valet parking was a plus. Concierge desk staff were warm, inviting, and helpful

One of the best malls with regular brands on one side of the road and the more upscale side on the other side of the road. Love to go there every week , more for the feel. Quite different from other malls , plus it has a good food court and some amazing restaurants too. My favorite restaurants there are of changs , capital grille and J Alexander. My favorite brands there are Chanel, LV, Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, Tiffany and Armani. It has an Apple Store , Microsoft store , teavana, Macy's side to the mall and Northstrom side too. Believe this mall has everything. Amazing !!!

I don't know what happened to this mall in the last 2-3 years. Maybe some other malls in the area closed.....but no matter what day of week or time of day: parking in this place is a bear!The shops are fine...the ones on the upscale side are expensive and usually empty! Honestly, I prefer Great Lakes mall (outlet) where they always seem to have everything 50% off!

Endless shops for everyone, lots of food choices & variety of department stores. Common area grounds on main floor was superb. It was decorated for Christmas and had a santa castle that was eye candy for all. Water falls and palm trees create a nice indoor atmosphere while strolling. My 4 yr old loved the Disney Store and Lego Store as well as the glass elevator and glass balconies.

Somerset collection is an upscale shopping mall that is located on two sides of Big Beaver Rd. The south side of Somerset has a wide variety of stores but they tend to be more upscale and if you only have a couple hrs to shop and have to pick one side or the other, i would pick the north side. Macys, Nordstroms, Limited, Loft, Banana Republic, on and on there are three levels of terrific shops and many restaurants to grab a bite on the go or an upscale sit down dinner. I went there to shop on Christmas holiday with my family. Mall was packed even parking lot. Securities had to direct traffic. Maybe I went there too late, most of stores did not offer discount anymore. However, it was my first time to visit this mall, I still had great experience. At least I did some window shopping. Second day, I went there at 9am at morning. I saw different side of the mall. Lot of people wore running shoes and active wear and walking around the mall whole morning.This mall has valet parking.

This mall is fantastic! There are two sides to the mall. On the one side you have Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. On the other side you have Nordstrom and Macy's. Every store you could ever want is in this mall and there are great restaurants such as California Pizza Kitchen and P.F Changs as well as several more. They do an awesome Santa as well as the Easter Bunny.

Great shopping experience.Stores on both sides of the road.Great Restaurants to choose from.Park yourself or use valet parking?All the well known stores are there.The middle do the Mall is decorated according to the season ect. Very busy?The stores are all good quality.Also Sur la table. Has a store there and you can sign up,and take cooking lessons too.Beautiful mall.You can eat very well .Look forward to going again.Can highly recommend .

We loved everything about this mall,great deals,got everything we were looking for. AAAAAAAA PLUS. Lots of good food to choose from in the food court.Valet Parking if you choose.We did!

I am here on business & had the Saturday on my own & Somerset was recommended to me. The service in all shops was great. A fab lunch at Capital Grille where they really looked after me, the basil & lime gin & tonic was lovely as was the perfectly cooked swordfish. I wanted to comment on Trip Advisor re the concierge service, South Mall manager & security guy Mr Smyth. My taxi was taking ages & they kept checking on me. Mr Smyth then rang the company as well as informing all other security areas to look out for my taxi, they gave me a voucher for a drink & when the taxi eventually arrived he ran out, located it & saw me safely into it. So impressed with the service, thank you,

This is one of the most beautiful malls we have ever visited, a pleasure to walk thorough. While the shops tend toward high end, we found sales staff in store after store to be friendly, helpful, and courteous. With a bit of looking, we found some very nice bargains. It's a pleasure to shop at Somerset Collection, with some nice restaurants to choose from, and complimentary WiFi.

Large Mall with all mayor shops beeing present in two mall buildings connected via an skywalk across a major road. I liked the concept and found teh selectin of shops really appealing. Left a lot of money :-)
