I was worried when I read all the negative reviews of this place on Google but we had a fabulous time. It was $16 for two adults and a two year old (over 30 inches) which included a peck of u-pick apples and the play areas, petting zoo, and wagon ride. I don't find that to be expensive at all for the amount of fun we had. The play area is great. It's unique so it's not just another typical playground that you can play on anywhere for free. The guy who drove our wagon ride out to the apple orchard was incredibly friendly. The views of the trees and pumpkin patches on the way to the apple picking spot were gorgeous. The cinnamon donuts were good but definitely not the best I've ever had. We went with four adults and two 2-year-olds and had an awesome morning. We went on a Thursday and I think prices go up on the weekend so keep that in mind. It was crowded but not unbearable. We didn't wait in any lines and didn't feel too cramped. We will probably make this a yearly trip!
Hy husband and I took our 8 year old and 21 month old to Westview today. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves for nearly 4 hours! We didn't take advantage of the apple or pumpkin picking, but we did enjoy a tractor pulled carriage ride to the corn mazes, along with the "Black Hole", 30 foot slide, and several other attractions. It is easy to see how a family could spend an entire day here! Admission is less than $10 per person which is a bargain and great way to get outdoors and just enjoy the kids running around! The only thing I would have done differently is purchase the cider and donuts upon entry, rather than trying to buy on our way out of the orchard. The lines were insane. Great for business...not so great for an impatient individual with a sleepy and cranky toddler.
I understand that it is packed here in the fall--it calls itself 'an adventure farm'--they sell all of the typical apple orchard goodies--on the weekends they offer all sorts of things for kids to do--for $9.75 per person (free under 30 inches) they have 16 activities--check out their web site--I believe they close on halloween--in season you can pick your own apples & pumpkins--theysay they are going to have a winery also....
