Food and service were very good. Restaurant has a pub/sports bar atmosphere, so it can be very loud when crowded, but is a fun place to go.
This is a large, loud and very popular sports-type bar with an upscale atmosphere and the unique feature of having beer taps at certain tables where you can pour your own by the ounce (at reasonable prices). Actually, everything here was priced fairly reasonably. However, this place seems to emphasize quantity over quality food-wise, and I'm on the other side of that. We had their most popular item, the smoked brisket nachos. They were huge, but only average in quality. The brisket itself was average and the combination of ingredients simply didn't work that well together. I actually think the nachos supreme at Taco Bell are just as good. The mahi-mahi fish sandwich was better--it had real fish and was pretty tasty. We ate here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and the place was still absolutely packed. I can only imagine how it would be on Friday and Saturday night. While I liked the beer taps at the table, it does take a little bit of skill to dispense it without getting all foam. Somewhat weirdly, the beers on tap at the tables are not available elsewhere in the place, which is no biggie because they have a huge selection of other beers. If you like trying a bunch of different beers, this would be a good choice. Their food menu also has a lot of variety. If you want to go out with a group this is probably a good choice so long as no one is a real foodie. If you want a place where you can actually talk, this is not so good because it really is fairly loud. Service was adequate but average. There were some excessively long delays between visits by our server. Finally, this place should be under restaurants and not attractions.
It's tough to get a table on a weekend night at this hot spot but well worth the wait. The tables with built in taps are novel, unique and test your beer pouring skills. The fare is savory down home American Bar & Grill with generous portions. You won't be disappointed in this spot!
The nachos (brisket) were OK. Good burgers/sandwiches. Fun beer tap in our booth (my wife loves to operate it for me). Sports bar-type place (lots of TVs). Hot servers. Can be a wait on Fridays/Saturdays.
The service was pretty good but the food was average at best and the noise level high disco (load and loader).
They are quite proud of their burgers, but I have tried quite a few and feel they are overpriced and overrated. They do it with sauces and toppings, which are overpowering....something just seems to be lacking. I find myself longing for my old time favorite...Flaming Pit. They are OK, but I doubt if I'll ever go back, and I've been there numerous times to try to find something distinctive and redeeming. Atmosphere is killer though...love the floors. Beer choices are excellent too.
