missouri star quilt company

I was blown away that this tiny town was HOPPING with fabric shoppers. There are actually 4 store fronts with the fabric shop, along with their long-arm quilting store (which you can't really go in...but they'll tell you about it). Staff was friendly, helpful, and prices are great for the quality fabric you get. I can't wait to go back!

I took my mom to the Missouri Star Quilt Company in September 2014 for a quilting class with Jenny Doan (and we wanted to see all the wonderful fabric that they show online). We had a wonderful time in the class, the accommodations were awesome and the stores were amazing. Yes, I said stores - there is more than one fabric shop - each one houses something different. They are all within walking distance of each other and there are several more stores in the works from what we saw and were told while we were there. Jenny Doan is a very outgoing lady and she makes quilting seem so easy! If you ever get close to Hamilton, MO and you quilt, be sure to stop in at the MSQC, you won't be sorry! (Now, as a disclaimer, Hamilton, MO is a very small town - there is not much for a man to do but maybe in a few years there will be something there for them as well).
