It is a beautiful cave and a pretty simple flat walk. I've been in Marvel Cave a few times and was prepared for lots of stairs and sore knees the next day. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy the guided tour was. The cave is very well lite and our tour guide Shannon was very fun and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Bridal Cave if your like this kinda stuff. It was a little pricey but worth it once in a while.
Indians had weddings, now this cave can be booked for weddings. Good store with lots of trinkets. Smaller than Jacobs Cave, and more expensive to take the tour, but worth the visit.
MY husband and I just renewed our vows today, we recently moved to the area from Iowa, and have been here a dozen times.we can't get enough of this place! The beautiful scenery, the friendly, outgoing staff and wide selection of souvenirs is why we keep coming back, and will do so until the e d of time!!!!!
Went the week after Christmas with family members. Even though it was miserably cold outside the cave was quite comfortable, about 55 degrees I think. Our guide was VERY knowledgeable and pointed out so many interesting things and facts about cave exploration and the real cave spelunkers and how they get through a cave. The formations in the cave are breathtaking to look at. You can only imagine the millions of years it took to form them. Of course, we could easily walk around even though we did have to duck a few times. I would definitely NOT recommend this place for anyone who has any problem walking or cannot get around EASILY. There is a great chance of stumbling, slipping, etc. and few hand rails for support. I am 70 years old and in good shape and had to pay close attention to every step I took. My 6 yr old grandson loved the place. The gift shop you go through before entering the cave is actually very interesting with lovely cut gems to look at. Even if you don't buy a thing you will enjoy this shop.
The cave is beautiful. It is very well lit. There are some stairs to climb, and some tight places, but easy to get around in. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. They have several wedding packages too!
I've been to several caves and I have to say they have done a great job with the lighting in this cave to show off the beauty of it. I can't believe how good my pictures turned out thanks to their lighting. Usually my cave pictures don't turn it near as good as these did. There is a passage that is pretty tight to get through is far as width and another area that you have a bend over to go through. Overall it is a pretty easy cave to go through. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and nice. Well worth going to, you won't be sorry.
We were in the area for the weekend visiting my family. We decided to visit the Bridal Cave this afternoon. The cave ranks number 3 in the country. We all loved it! If you are in the area, stop by and check it out.
We just finished our tour of the Bridal Cave and it was beautiful. It is about an hour tour and we had a 1 1/2 year old, a 2 1/2 year old and a 12 month old and they enjoyed it. Beautiful cave, knowledgeable tour guide and not too expensive. Highly recommend!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. There are actually a lot of couples that get married in the cave. They have books of marriages going back over 40 years. It's fun for all ages and it's cool for when the weather is HOT. So many rock formations and you can take all the pictures you want. A must see if you are in the area.
Friendly staff got us on a tour within minutes of arriving. Going after Labor Day was good-just 4 of us on the tour-usually they take many more. This place is absolutely breathtaking! and unlike many other caves we have been through. Christina, our guide, was very knowledgeable and so pleasant. After finding so much closed in the area (post Labor Day) and the frustration of getting around in the non-user-friendly Lake Ozark area (better signage would be great), Bridal Cave got us back into vacation-mode. This is a Must See!
Great attraction for all ages. We had an under five years and an over 60 years in our party and negotiated the cave fine. The guide who has boys of her own, was terrific with our four-year-old boy. The cave, though similar to other caves, is beautiful in its own right.
The staff was so nice and helpful! We enjoyed our tour of this amazing cave! It is so beautiful. There is 1 spot that is hard to get through so be warned about bags, backpacks and baby carriers! We watched a family have big issues with baby carrier. Ask questions they are nice. Will go back!
I am a big cave fan and these definitely did not disappoint. Our guide was amazing she made us laugh and gave us a lot of the history of the cave. It is in wonderful shape, and it is privately owned i believe. The views had lots of formations and there is even an small body of beautiful blue water inside. One of the few caves where you can take pictures!!!
We enjoyed our cave tour and went here as part of our honeymoon. It was fun to be in the "Bridal Cave" to celebrate our recent wedding! We enjoyed our intimate tour with 6 people and learned about the cave.
Our guide was just amazing, he brought the cave to life with his stories. This was our first cave visit and our whole family really enjoyed it. They took a photo of our family together and we had fun picking out our treasures in the gift shop.
