Food Court options were all hamburger type joints. There were a lot security folks walking around so you would feel safe.
I shop at mid rivers a lot considering i live right down the street and I love the stores and most of the employees. I understand the no teenager policy on Friday and Saturdays and I know I look very young so I have no problem showing my ID. I did have a problem last night (Tuesday) when I was shopping at the mall, one of the mall cops was walking around the food court and he stared as I walked passed him so as the friendly person I am, I smiled at him and he intentionally rolled his eyes at me. It made me feel really uncomfortable and un welcomed at the mall. About half of the mall cops there are nice, friendly people and the other half and are just plain douchebags. On Black Friday there was also two men in their mid 20's being escorted out of the mall because they had their hoods up. The mall cops said that it was stated in the policy that they can't walk through the mall with their hoods up. I looked up the policy to see if that was true and found nothing on it. Although that may be a rule, it seemed very unnecessary to me. Never had a problem with this mall before but I don't feel comfortable being stared at because I look underage.
I came every week and i walk around until my mom gets off. Especially during the holidays the mall is very busy and crowded. Like always, there's characters for the holidays. Some of the shops have closed but the majority are still open. And honestly, the mall always seems too warm
While this is only being rated at 3-stars by me, it's simply because it lacked any real entertainment value for families. Its purpose as a mall is well fulfilled, there wasn't anywhere in the mall to entertain the little ones while shopping is taking place.
This is a great mall to go to. You will feel safe in this 2 story indoor mall. It is always well keep and clean mall. Has the major stores, specialty shops, a multi screen theater and many choices in the food court as well as a few restaurant. Security is always present which give you peace of mid while shopping. Parking is well lit at night as well as security cruising in the parking lot. We love this mall.PS. this mall does have curfew for teens on the weekends.
One of our top priorities at Mid Rivers Mall is to provide customers, retail partners, and employees with a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable shopping experience. To clarify, our "Youth Escort Policy" (YEP) is currently only in effect on Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm till closing. If you would like to more information about this policy, please go to our website. http://www.shopmidriversmall.com/shop/mrivers.nsf/security
It has just been Redone- says the Mall managers- which means new flooring and fresh paint. It still is old and tired. But the stores are nice- and staff are friendly- but really they need to re- do or build a whole new mall and a larger one as this area growing and becoming more upscale- this mall has not grown with it. The movie theater still has OLD dirty carpets.
The major stores are here along with some interesting smaller ones. A good walking mall if you're out for laps & exercise!I don't know if it has lockers or stroller parking. These are not things I would use.
Mid Rivers Mall is your typical mall with many stores to please. Also has a movie theater. Anchor stores include Macys, JcPennys, Sears, and Dillard's. Dicks Sporting Goods as well. Many things to see and do.
As one of the last bastages of indoor malls in the area, this mall is very well maintained and clean. There are lots of nice stores and our kids love to shop there (us, not so much because we hate to spend money)
This mall has lots of stores, food court, movie theater, close to highway 70 and very clean. I enjoy shopping there.
We like going to the mall to visit stores like Dillards, Dicks Sporting Goods and Sears. Best Buy and Matress Giant are places we have patronized lately also. It is important to shop locally to support your local shops and local economy. Costco is right around the corner along with many restaurants and fast food.
The title should tell you everything. I thought Gap was in every mall (I don't shop there but it is noticalby missing). It is also missing a few other key "mall" stores. The department stores (ie Dillards) are not updated like other malls. And now to top it off no kids under 18 allowed in the mall without a parent after 6/7pm. That is crazy and unamerican. I will be driving the extra distance to Hazelwood or Chesterfield from now on just because of that.
The mall is outdated. The Dillards is especially bad. Their mens department is dark, and there were no mirrors in the dressing rooms. I felt like I was in an old, cut rate discount department store.
It is rare to see a mall that has very few empty store fronts. This mall is pretty full. It is clean, has a good food court and a couple of sit down restaurants. It halso has a modern movie theatre. It has good anchors like Macy's and Dillards with ample parking a nd plenty of good box stores in the parking lot area. Well worth the stop.
