Horable experience. Harassed be people trying to sale you all kind of trush , garbage and unnecessary things. During the play time, workers of the circus will not let you watch moving a front of you again trying to sale garbage food and drink, lights and toys. The extortion starts at the parking $10 in cash for 2 hours at Cedar Park Center. Today at 11AM , 01/17/2015 The performance - bad . If you want to see real circus go and visit Russia. The "Flying Man" and the nice señoritas were the only short attraction. Waist of Time. The tickets were gift .Never will pay ticket for circus with tortured animals !!!!
My name is Alex Noudelman and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Shrine Circus in Toronto last summer. Despite the tigers not being there, the experience was amazing and the performers where phenomenal. I will definitely buy tickets to see it next year.Regards,Alex Noudelman
Just got back from the Shrine Circus at the Markham fairgrounds. We drove from Barrie because they didn't offer it there this year. There was suppose to be a canon firing a man into a inflatable but it didn't happen because out a power mishap with the inflatable. The clowns were awful. The prices WAY too high. $10 each to ride the elephant for under a minute. $10 for a photo beside a Minion or Spongebob. $5 for a pop, cotton candy or tiny box of popcorn. Not much of flying acts which I had hoped to see. We left shortly after the admission. My kids aged 3 and 5 really wanted to leave. They were sweating from the heat and it was just too crowded. People always walking in front of us. Thank God for 2 for 1 Groupon coupons. Won't be returning next time.
This location was at the Woodbridge Fair Grounds. We were in sweltering heat under a big top tent, no fans, maybe a slight breeze from the openings, amateur clowns, $3.00 for a bottle of water that I had to purchase otherwise I'd pass out from the heat. I paid $2.94 for a case of the same water the day before. $5.00 for a box of stale popcorn, $5.00 for a little toy fan that lights up but no air comes out of it. I mean, they charge $30.00 a person for this "circus" and then gauge you for food and drinks. Thank goodness I found a coupon in the local paper. I would NEVER pay this kind of $$ for this show. The "clowns" were not funny. Some sketches involved male audience members that I thought were inappropriate for children and for a circus. The acts were mediocre. Much support was used for the high balancing acts and that's fine. The horse acts were ok even though the performers fell a few times. The elephants were the best part of the act. But then again, we didn't stick around for the second part because it was just too hot in there and all the kids were getting fussy. (Can I blame them?)My kids wanted to leave after thirty minutes. We left during the intermission. We saw a lot of families heading to their vehicles after the first half as well. Never again. Lesson learned.
