Many weddings take place here, surrounded by stone pillars and graceful pathways. Climbing roses, tiny blooms, magnificent hybrids....all meticulously groomed. The fountains are elegant and relaxing to hear. Beautiful spot for family photos or romantic walks.

Very busy but SO pretty! The weather was amazing and we got some awesome pics with the roses and all the falling leaves!

One of Kansas City/Plaza areas best kept little secrets . . . and it's free, too! I think it's a great park and go there as often as I can when I am in KC.

I went on a tour with women from the city of Gladstone. There had been a severe storm just a few days before but the Rose Garden was absolutely beautiful! A lot of blooms had been striped but the rest were so pretty. The layout of the garden was very well thought out. I loved the fact each and every rose had a label with the name and orientation of it. I will definitely go again! Thank you to the Master Gardeners of KC for taking such great care of this garden.

The best place to walk, it clean and you will feel very safe. People are very friendly and it very beautiful area.

Attracted to Loose Park by this rose garden, we ventured out to see it for the first time. It's a really picturesque circular garden, ideal for weddings. The roses weren't in full bloom in most of the garden so obviously the beginning of August isn't a great time to see them. The fountain was a nice touch, added in the center in 2002. Everyone can stand to take a break every now and then from their busy schedules. I can't think of a more fitting place to do that at than here.

Nice park, beautifully manicured rose gardens. Lots of activity here, but big enough to get caught up in your own thoughts.

IT is not just a rose garedn but a beauty of a park with century old building and pavilions close by for and a first class running path right by. And the roses are well tended by a private non-profit group that really put thier heart in it. Many weddings and special occassion but need to reserve in advance.

Lots of rock walls, walkways,roses of all colors. To many ducks in pond. Places to have lunch,benches to sit on , covers to keep sun off. Lots of walking if you need to exercise.

Loose Park Rose Garden is one of the focal points of Loose Park and a nice place to spend some time if you visit. Approximately 1.5 acres in size, this rose garden is a great place to take a stroll and enjoy the fragrant scents from the 4,000 or so roses on display. This rose garden is also known as Laura Conyers Smith Memorial Rose Garden and it’s a top attraction at Loose Park. The garden is laid out with roses surrounding a circular pathway with a fountain in the center. An entrance way leads visitors to the garden and it looks like it would make a great setting for a wedding or other formal event.Loose Park Rose Garden is definitely a peaceful place. The area is clean, quiet, and inviting. I took a stroll around the walkway on the circular exterior and found it quite relaxing, taking in the quiet sounds of nature and the fragrant scents surrounding me. This rose garden is nicer than others I have visited and it makes a nice way to wind down a visit to Loose Park. Walk around a little and enjoy the sights and sounds. It’s a great way to revitalize the senses and rejuvenate after a long day.

Loose Park Rose Garden is a pretty rose garden with lots of different types of roses of all differentcolors of roses. It's a nice place for a wedding or just to walk around and enjoy the beauty of the flowers. Pretty and relaxing.

The Rose Garden in Loose Park offers a huge variety of roses laid out in concentric circles starting from a central fountain. It is impossible to not stop to smell and admire the beauty of these flowers.

The roses and fountains are amazing. A relaxing place to visit and stroll through. Very nicely maintained, clean, gardens in wonderful shape. Stop and smell the roses while here!

This is a fantastic park for a walk. You can see a nice landscaped area in peace and quiet. It down not seem to attract the type of people to play loud music and make the park unsafe. It is in a nice area.

A beautiful city park with, as obvious from other reviews, noted for its rose garden. Also, has several small ponds. I was there to walk around for the signage regarding the battlefield (Battle of Westport). If you read the information closely you can get a pretty good idea of what happened during the battle. Tucked inside an upscale neighborhood an ideal place to go for a run, walk, or have a picnic. Looks to be pretty safe although I did hear some locals say to use common sense (in other words, leave by dusk). Disappointed that I did not find out about this park until my last day here.
