We went here expecting to see some of the artists at work. The only one we saw doing anything like this was a construction worker doing some renovations inside the craft mall. There was only one store open, no booths had any one there and we saw no one else other than a few people like us walking thru. It was pretty strange I thought.Doors open at 10 AM and we were there around 11:30. There was a sewing store nearby (not connected) that we decided to also walk thru. It was nicely decorated and the people in there were very friendly, but we went there to see the crafters and we didn't see a single one inside the Branson Mill. So I guess all in all it was just okay. There were some nice things to buy that were American made but that would be the only positive thing I can really mention.
We stopped by after seeing the Amish Store. This is just down the street. Plan 1-2 hours if you want to see everything. There are independent booths, so not everything will be open at all times.
Nice craft mall with a nice variety of items. Some, but not all, were locally made. Some really unique items including sculpture, paintings, quilts, toys, and jewelry. The Made in the USA General Store is in one end of the craft mall. There were not many demonstrations going on but we were there between Christmas and New Years - we will check it out again next time.
We enjoyed our visit to the Branson Mill where you can find items for sale that are all made in the USA! There is something for everyone.
Large store to browse for crafts and gifts. Wonderful real mill going outside. They have craftsmen demonstrate their skills everyday. Plenty of parking.
A complete one stop shopping experience ! I had a large group with me and all were super happy and well pleased we visited while we were in Branson Mo !
If you like making or buying arts and crafts, this is the place to go.Lots of booths, good for browsing. Some goods were overpriced. Patchwork quilts were interesting. Background music of old pop records was very good.
BRANSON MILLSo much to see and GREAT people to talk with. I felt like I just stepped right into the old west with RATTELSNAKE EDDIE , HE WAS SO EASY TO TALK WITH and his craftsmanship with leather and other selections were of the HIGHEST QUALITY !!!! MOUNTAIN MAN NUT & FRUIT CO. had the greatest SELECTION of Fruits, Nuts, and Candies . Sandy was such a pleasure to talk with. I for sure will tell friends
We went with great expectations of seeing the craftsmen and women actually at their booths creating or at least there to talk about their wares. We encountered only one craftsman, a woodworker, there talking to visitors and sharing information. After reading all of the outstanding reviews, we were very disappointed. Maybe it was because it was on a Wednesday evening, maybe because of the craft fair going on at Silver Dollar City, who knows? All I know is that we quickly strolled through and quickly left.
Mr M or I should say, Gaylen Montgomery teaches a scroll saw workshop in Branson Mill that was very educational even to a somewhat seasoned scroller such as I. Gaylen taught me a lot about cutting techniques that will help me be a better scroller. Part of his workshop was devoted to blade selection and which blades are best in hard and soft woods. If I make another trip to Branson, I will plan on taking time to attend another of Gaylen's workshop.
One of the attractions at Branson Mill is Mountain Man Nut & Fruit Co. We spent about half an hour deciding what to get. They have a fantastic selection and the ladies there will give you samples to help you decide. As mentioned in another review, Sandy is very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Now if we had only not left our chocolate covered peanuts in a hot car...
Branson Mill is a wonderful stop, with numerous crafted items and other products, from food, to clothing, to gifts, personal, and household items.Nona, at the shop with a huge variety of nuts, dried fruits, candies and snacks, was so very friendly and helpful! She offered us numerous free tastes to help us decide what items we might like. Thank you, Nona, for a lovely shopping experience!
The pottery was great the individual artist's are amazing. Very original and different choices. The new made in America store had some great things as well
We had a wonderful time shopping at Branson Mill . Sandy at the Mountain Man shop was so kind and helpful . She answered all our questions and helped us every step of the way . Also Brian Karn at the new Made in the USA General Store . Greeted us with a kind and welcome smile . He informed us of all the products and was very helpful . Brian is a man of God and very proud of it . We will be back and are telling all about the Branson Mill Thanks
My husband and I met Mr. M. in July and was so friendly and helpful, we decided to come back and take a class. The class was great and worth every penny! You get great one-on-one instruction and he knows what he is teaching!
