Family run music venue that dates back to early days of blues. House band is great, really nice family runs hall.

This place has soul. You can feel it when you walk in the door. Its a really cool blues joint that has a history of having had many famous blues musicians play here. Its located just across the railroad tracks from the Depot District in Bay Saint Louis and is owned by a talented couple who have done a beautiful job renovating the building and keeping its character. Its the place to go to hear some good music and meet some of the locals.

Writing a review of a place unfortunately closed when we had to keep moving isn't fun. If you get a chance and are into the Blues, I trust you'll fare better than we did getting into this little gem when it's grittin' out some serious melancholia. However, we managed to find a substitute way to drown our own blues locally in some fresh spiced seafood and a few delicious beers before moving on. We need intimate venues like 100 Men Hall, collecting, living and spreading a world renowned culture of great American sound.

This is a cool Blues venue in such a great town. They have a concert on the second Saturday of every month, as well as some special events. Most recently we went to the New Year's Eve event. Running the place is obviously a labor or love for the current owners. They set up tables for the performances and they've been able to add a cash bar with very reasonable prices. The crowds are all ages, and from both sides of the tracks -- glittery dresses to blue jeans. It's a wonderful community brought together by fantastic performers (and dancing for many who just can't resist)!You can read all about the history either outside the building or on the MS Blues Trail website, as it is on the Mississippi Blues trail and has an informative marker outside -- but come when it's open for the music if you can!

One of the best places to go on in the MS Gulfcoast. Some of the best Blues Music can be found once a month at the hall. The historical aspect of this great venue adds to the funky/groovy feel of all the shows.
