Beautiful park with many amenities - cabins for rent, swimming pool, children's playground, frisbee golf course, a swinging bridge and rustic primitive cabin next to a natural water fall.

Our camping club has visited this park several times. We enjoy the quietness of the outdoors and the closeness to the city of Tupelo. Wal-Mart is a short drive away for supplies. Big rings to tents are welcome.

Tombigbee State Park just outside Tupelo, Mississippi is a small park but to our surprise it was just beautiful. After being on the road for sometime pulling our airstream we needed to pull over for the evening. After, looking around online we decide to stay the evening at this park. It had only 20 RV sites but each was well kept & even some with full sewer hook ups. They had nice showers & laundry facilities with two new washers & two new dryers. As we came into the park we crossed over a beautiful small lake and across the road form the RV sites there was a really nice playground. I will say the road going to the park did seem narrow but it was well paved & there was a huge 5 wheel sitting in one of the sites, so I guess it's not a problem for the big rigs. I would definitely stay here again. I would suggest reservations during the peak season as I'm sure it fills up fast with only 20 camping sites. Happy Camping!
