This is a good bar and music venue inside the Ameristar Casino. There is a large video poker bar-like counter with an excellent view of the stage and dance floor. There is ample table seating just off the dance floor and to the sides of the main room.Trying to get a drink from the bartenders was frustrating, as they were quite overworked. Waiter service was relatively attentive. One tip is that if you were playing video poker, the drinks are complementary. They charge for drinks in the other seating areas.When there are no bands playing, it is a quiet area to have a drink or play video poker. It is a very good area to watch bands perform.

I visited for my birthday and enjoyed the show. Mr. Sipp was the entertainer and the music was really very good. He interacted with the crowd very well and some people even got up on stage with him. I ordered fried catfish and drinks, both were very good and fresh. I will visit again if ever in Vicksburg.

First time at this location . It was inside a casino and it was beautiful the Decor was fancy and not . It has chandeliers as well as beer can lids hanging above the bar. The dance floor was average size. Con no bathroom you must exit the club and use public one outside the bar. Drinks $4.50 domestic beer.

Ok, the place is really nice inside. It has a small feel but lots of room. They have different bands each weekend. I think you can go to Ameristars website to see who will be there, but anyway... My friends and I went to hear this DISCO band called Dr. Zhar (spelling?), we had sooo much fun!!!! They even dress DISCO, wigs, tight pants, Casey and the Sunshine band all the way! The music was really good. They sung a Journey song and I thought Steve Perry was in the place! Even hitting the high notes! Brick house, all the old school. It was a blast!

My husband and I visited the Bottleneck Blues Bar in June 2004 and June 2003. We plan to go there again this June.The music venue changes----sometimes you do hear Blues, sometimes not. But, whatever the venue, the performances are enjoyable. I really enjoy being able to watch the performace AND play the slots. I would recommend The Bottleneck Blues Bar as a fun place to go when visiting in Vicksburg.
