carabiner's indoor climbing

I'm so fortunate to have Carabiner's in my hometown! I started going in September and soon after got their EFT membership. Climbing has been a terrific addition to my life - it is a FANTASTIC form of exercise, exhilarating, and a great way to make new friends. It is a great way to challenge yourself and overcome fears (especially any fear of heights!)!! Don't let a fear of heights hold you back - it is a very safe sport and the staff is prudent and responsible about reinforcing safe equipment use and practices. It is also a great place to get in cardio on their machines or some weight training on their equipment. If it is your first time going - I recommend the Meetups on Wednesday or Friday nights!

- Attendees: Me, my 8 year old son and my 4 year old son- Time spent there - 2 1/2 hours- The good: Very professional, lots of different climbs for all levels (even my 4 year old), make sure you call ahead to schedule for an assistant to belay (if you are not certified)- The bad: It is a little pricey if you need to hire an assistant- Overall: Great experience. Will be going back.

Fair price and fun for the family. Very safe and open to beginners. Staff was friendly and is an enjoyable atmosphere.

Carabiner's offers climbing for all levels. Great activity for the family. Cost is fairly reasonable, friendly staff, great way to keep kids active and interested.

My nine year old daughter would climb here all day every day if possible. Place is clean, staff is friendly and runs the place well. Only negative is the expense to take to children to climb fir an hour. We had a well run birthday party here as well.

Had our 14 yr old's birthday party here. The staff was extremely knowledgable and attentive, and kept our crew of 25 quite happy and involved. The climbs go from easy to difficult to expert (there were some truly awesome guys climbing in one section). They have rooms for pizza/cake/etc. which makes for no clean-up at home. Our group had a blast!!

This is a fun-filled place for individuals and families with children. The climbing walls present various levels of challenge and teach parents and children the value of working together to reach the top (whether life or the wall). Friendly and knowledgeable staff add to the enjoy. Recommend it for a fun and challenging afternoon.

Great place to take older kids (middel school age), fun, safe. Friendly atmosphere and part of a sports complex, convenient to I-95.

What a fun and safe place for kids! The staff is superb and is a really fun place for both kids and adults!

It was expensive ($50 dollars for a 1hr private instructor & 2 climbers) but the person was very nice and we had a great time. They have many options for all age groups. The rental equipment is still pretty new. We had a lot of fun and it was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Went with my daughters. Very straightforward reception and direct instructions for the parents. With the kids, the instructors established excellent dialogue. Safety is paramount, so nothing was left to chance. No running in the entire place, and the staff managed to keep the rumbounctious kids of a birthday party to a walking pace. Great way to spend an afternoon. Need to call ahead to reserve instruction.
