how said to lose this venue. Hartford will not support Baseball like the locals in and around New Britain. False promises made to outside owners will now devastate two towns. Greed and cluelessness. Enjoy the 2015 season everyone!
The New Britain stadium is a "state of the art" ballpark, with great sightlines and good seating options all at low/fair prices. Nice gift shop and decent food vendors too. Every first Friday night of the month, they feature a nice fireworks show after the game. Very kid friendly place, with between-inning contests and antics by the team mascot and others to keep the young ones occupied. The home team doesn't win all that often but it's good baseball and very affordable.
We had a wonderful time. The game was exciting and we had ice cream and cheered for the home team. The seats were great and the stmoshere was exciting! We plan go back again.
A sporting event with the family in mind. You sit so close to the field that you feel you are part of the game. The players interact with the fans and the kids love it!
Great fun for everyone. The price is very inexpensive. Once a month on Friday nights they have fireworks after the game.
Beautiful Stadium. This is a great way to spend an afternoon. Nice atmosphere and reasonable ticket prices so it's great for the entire family.
I try to head to a couple of Rock Cats games per year. They are affordable and a lot of fun. Parking is always easy, ticket prices are always affordable, and it's a fun thing for adults and children alike...and if you look at their 'events' calendar, there is always something fun going on at the stadium. On friday nights you can catch a laser light show or fireworks after the game...there are kids eat free days...and there are also several deals for families that offer discounted food when you purchase a family 4 pack. Definitely worth checking out!
I have attended numerous Rock Cat games and have enjoyed each an every one. The park is clean and well run. There are multiple places to purchase food, drink, and cold deserts in the park. There are many promotional nights that include fireworks, Bark in the Park (dogs attend), pre-game block party, and many more events (check out their website for more). There is plenty of parking.
Reasonable prices, great seats throughout the stadium and they really put the kids first. The mascots make their rounds and always ready to take a picture and sign a ball/hat. There is a kids zone in where there are games and a bounce house. Food is reasonably priced and they are always running specials, for example kids eat free on certain nights. Every Friday night the game ends with a fireworks display. You may even see a few major league players playing when they are recovering from an injury.
The Rock Cats are the best. They do a great job of engaging the crowd - ticket prices are reasonable, plentiful parking, concession stands not too expensive.
Decent stadium, passable food. The joy is in the game. You are close to the action. The mascots are around for high-fives and autographs. Not expensive, but expect to pay about $5.00 for parking. Avoid the rush and buy tickets online. Print them ahead, too, to avoid long wait at will-call.
Great time with 9 year old and parents. Family friendly atmosphere. Of course the concession prices seemed outrageous especially for the cotton candy, but it was not surprising.
I love going to the Rock Cats Games. It's not so crazy expensive that you can't bring the whole family. They have great season ticket packages.
The Rock Cats are perfect for families. Lots of fun, family friendly, and affordable. Lots of food available too! The Rock Cats are very popular & there is clearly a reason for that.
Value was great... very fun for family outing. GOOD TIP: don't sit on first base line for evening games. Sun sets over third base side so it is right in your face... no sun glasses and u miss first few innings... much better with sun at your back...
