Ushers are very welcoming and escort you to your seat right as you walk in. Great music and inspired sermon. Everyone makes you feel welcome. Please drop by whenever you're near.
By the beauty and history of this jewel box of a church, Trinity on the green at chapel square in New Haven. Lovely choir and organ. Welooming and friendly congregants. Looking forward to my next visit when in the area. A short walk to Starbucks after the serviceDavid
This is a nice old building. The doors are open and it's actually really nice that they leave the doors open when most churches lock them to keep the homeless people out. Since the doors are open, you can also go in and look around. They got some pretty windows. It's not the kind of place that I would want to go to pray, but it's nice to look at.
While visiting New Haven we have walked by this Trinity Church several times but decided to go in. The doors are always opened. Really worth stopping in to pray, meditate or just to get some quiet time from the city. There are Tiffany stained glass windows to enjoy. We were greeting by a church staff person who gave us an impromptu history lesson. The church is known for its concerts and community involvement. The church offers stunning architecture that dates back to the 1800’s.
Trinity Church on the Green is a gem. When you enter the church you see the beautiful stained glass windows which have been restored. It is a church in the Episcopal tradition and the choirs of men and boys and men and girls are second to none, they are a very welcoming church and well worth a visit.
I didn't heed there warning not to go up in the balacony and got into trouble. I t was too funny but at the sametime unnerving. I wanted to take and overall photograph of the place but when I did bats flew out of everywhere. I honestly didn;t see the sign until the way down. Beautiful historic piece of architecture.
I have attended several services at this church. It is an oasis of peace and beauty in bustling New Haven, right on the green. They have a boys choir too that is really good. You don't have to be Episcopalian to go to a service. If you are visiting the area, it is something pretty special and unusual to do.
