Wood Acres Farm provided a horse and carriage ride for my wife and I on our wedding day when we departed the wedding reception. The proprietor, Ken Wood and his family are our neighbors. They have a beautiful farm with facilities for weddings and special occasions and we have also gone on sleigh rides on the scenic trails through the pine woods on their extensive property. Highly recommended for a romantic Valentines Day outing when weather conditions are favourable! They provide warm blankets for the ride and a hot beverage and cookies in front of a cheerful fire when you return.

For the two of us they had the Victorian Sleigh. The ride lasted about 50 minutes or so. They gave us blankets to cover ourselves up with which made the ride very comfortable. Once we returned they gave us hot cocoa and an assortment of cookies, as we warmed up by their stove. We took lots of pictures and it was a fun experience.A slight downside was that I thought it was just a little bit too expensive for the length of the ride, especially with the pre fixed 18%.
