Check out the website. Its very well done and well kept. A lot of local school field trips hit this place (watch out for those busses). Otherwise very quiet and peaceful, and it seems likes theres always some event or other going on.

Great way to see history come alive. Wonderful home and grounds. Our guide was so helpful with other history nearby also.

The actors who work in the house do an amazing job representing life way back when. It is fascinating how hard life was and how determined they were to succeed. If you love history you need to see this home.

I brought my two sons and my niece. Lots of trails and walking. We went on spring break but wasn't much to see I think the kids where ok with it not on there top ten list. Good for walking and chatting

This is a beautiful old home and it is decorated in old time fashion. A stop is well worth it and if one likes nature there is a fine area just up the road with trails.

This beautiful house is across the street from the Nature Center and definitely a jewel to visit. The house dates from 1717 and the rooms are furnished to show the house through the time periods when it was lived in. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the site. There will be an event at the Homestead on July 8 2012 with Revolutionary War cavalry, artillery and crafters. Sounds like that will be something to see! There will also be a Farmers' Market that day, so there's another thing to add to your itinerary if you're in the area.
