A staff with a true and deep passion for what they do - and they encourage you to not only try the oil or vinegar you're interested in, they will steer you to what they think compliments it or others that may suit your tastes. A fine product too. A little pricey (olive oils are $18.95 & vinegars are $14.95), BUT something of genuine outstanding quality usually is... and so worth every penny. There are standard store-bought wines, chocolates, cigars, oils, vinegars... then there are fine French wines, Swiss chocolates, Cuban cigars, and Extra Virgin oils & vinegars. I hope I've made my point.PROS:- Outstanding quality & selection- Knowledgable staff- Spotlessly cleanCONS:- Can be a little overwhelming to the uninitiated, but the friendly staff will quickly alleviate that.

My husband and I purchased three different types of pasta on our recent trip to Mystic. The pasta is excellent and we highly recommend it. And it has very good expiration dates, so it can be stored for longer periods of time, if need be,

I love this shop! I always come away with an oil and/or a vinegar that I've never had before...which then leads to months of enjoying the shopping experience all over again. I tend to favor the citrus infused products - lime vinegar, Meyer lemon olive oil. I eat a lot of salads and Extra Virgin's products help me get a lot of variety in my sides. I also love to go next door to Seminola and pick up some pasta sauces and homemade pasta. My current favorite is Spicy Garlic Cream Vodka sauce - not for the faint hearted!

My wife and I stumbled across this little hidden gem when we were in Mystic CT recently. The staff immediately greeted us when we walked in. They were all so wonderful, energetic, and VERY knowledgeable. I bought 4 different types of pasta and raviolis and I can't wait to try them and my wife got several different olive oils and vinegars to make salad dressings with based off some of the crazy concoctions Katie came up with, which reminds me GO THERE TO SEE KATIE!She's wonderful, she has such good energy, and she knows her stuff. She paired some obsolete oils and vinegars for us that you would never think to put together and they tasted DELISH.Thanks so much for a very enjoyable day Katie, we loved meeting you and trying all the different oils and vinegars. We'll be back for sure when we come down again.

Shopping in this store was a fun experience!The staff were all very friendly & knowledgeable about their products. They encourage you to try the different oil, vinegar & spice products. We purchased a Cajun seasoning that ended up being a great souvenir since we think of our vacation every time that we use it.

This little store is a fun stop while in olde mystick village. The young women who were clerks while we were there were very knowledgeable and let us sample many combinations of oils and vinegars. I ended up buying lots of gifts while I was there. Besides the oils and vinegars they have unusual pastas and sauces.

This place has infused olive oils and vinegars & you can taste them (which I did not do). Next door is a pasta store where they use the oils & vinegars to make all the pastas, which I thought were a little over priced just like the oils.

The owner Stephen opened this shop a little over a year ago. One side contains homemade pastas and perfect sauces to pair with. The pastas are beautiful - theme-inspired creations. Just perusing the pasta store was great. The true experience was the tastings next door. I've never done a vinegar or an oil tasting (only wine) but my mom and I had a blast. The owner and his friendly staff let us do our thing but would continuously check on us to describe what we were tasting and how it would go with certain foods. After we had found our favorite vinegars and oils we told him and he mixed the combinations do we could see what everything would taste like together. If you are a foodie - this is a must do experience if you are in the area!
