the lazy daisy

Rainy day so I decided to browse around in this country store. Welcomed cordially by a nice young lady. Noticed a plethora of repurposed furnishings and consignment wares plus a sampling of new items. Merchandise appeared sectioned by vendor. It appeared to me similar to a flea market minus the vendors. Hence the evolution of the cute name? All in all okay place to browse. There are multiple floors and square footage of stuff.

I have been in both the Chester and the Midlothian locations. I love that I can find items for myself and my eighteen year old daughter. We have remodeled her room with fun pieces and the best part is we saved so much money. Each area has unique finds. It is a great mother daughter shopping experience. Plus it is locally owned. It feels good knowing you are supporting them.

I was presently surprised when I visited the “Lazy Daisy”. Stopped by because I saw something outside that interested me. When I ventured inside I was amazed at the variety of objects. Not just antiques, but “knick-knacks”, funny signs to hang up in your home, unique items and just many different articles. It is worth a visit.

This is more of a retail consignment business with an eclectic mix of things. In my opinion the store is a bit overwhelming with just too much stuff in a small area. Seems cluttered to me and prices are a bit inflated. Fun place to check out but I didn't find any good deals.

Such a fun little shop - a little of everything....consignment, antiques, handmade. I can't believe it has taken me this long to visit!
