Given all the movies that are available, we don't have any interest in the movies that this theater offers. We have only found 3 movies in the last 2 years that interest us.

Unlike many movie theaters these days, this one is independently owned and operated. The employees are always nice and respectful. It's not that old, so don't expect some run down old place. The whole place is always clean and the movies are always kept at a decent audio level. Meaning you are not blasted out of your seat while watching them. At least that's been the case when I've gone. Unlike the big chain movie houses where you have to take ear plugs to watch an action flick. We try to watch all our movies here, we just love the place.

Westlake Cinema is a very typical small movie theater, having 4 screens and showing first run movies. We don't often go to the movies, so we are always a bit taken back by what they charge. I'm sure, pricewise they were very much inline with what is the current average. The theater is only about 10 years old and is very well kept up. An order of popcorn costs about the same as the movie and is also typical of charges at other similar theaters elsewhere. Of course that part is a rip-off, but we all know that and more often than not, we buy it anyway.

Westlake is a great place to see a first run movie with the family. It is close enough to both Bedford and Franklin County. You don't have to go through all the traffic in either Lynchburg or Roanoke, and it cost less. The down side is that you don't have all the places around it, if you are looking for a dinner and movie. But there are good restaurants close to Westlake Cinema. Like I said, it is a great place to go with a family, see a first run movie it a first class theater close to home.

Located at Westlake Town Centre shops and good location. Lots of parking and inside theatres clean and set up nicely. Has four screens. Food usual and like most theatres now a day pricey but fresh.
