It was our first visit to this resort and the people who run the place and those who come to visit were all very friendly and most helpful. Everything is clean and nice, NO bug problems were noticed anywhere on the property. There are no limits on how many times you can visit without becoming a member as some do. The indoor pool is heated and I am told that in the winter months the outdoor pool may be as well. We saw every age group and many different nationalities. We enjoyed our two days there and hated to leave for the long drive home. We will be back as soon as possible.

White Tail was our home resort for a while and we absolutely loved it. Everyone is extremely friendly and it's a true nudist resort without any ulterior motives.The facilities are wonderful with a large pool, covered hot tub, indoor pool, sauna, gym, restaurant, game room, event hall, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.This is a resort for everyone and everyone is accepted here. We have never seen a single alienated or treated badly. However, White Tail members police the place strictly and if someone was there to gawk or was being in appropriate then they probably got yelled at or kicked out. This is a family resort and the members aren't about to let that be jeopardized.We went to White Tail frequently and NEVER saw any cockroaches or any other bug problem. The place is in the middle of the swamp though, so yes there will be some bugs around but it has never been an issue.If you're on the fence about going they have open houses for newbies to see how they like it, and the annual Beachfest every August is an event not to be missed.

I have to say before anything else that this is a nudist resort, which is different than a clothing-optional resort. Here, you are expected to be nude when weather permits and you will see that almost everyone else is. Personally, I prefer it this way because everyone is in the same state of undress so no one is uncomfortable and you quickly forget you're naked. At a clothing optional resort, you are reminded that you're nude every time you see a clothed person and you also have to question the intentions of someone who visits a resort like that wearing clothes. You are, however, given a short time to keep your clothes on and adjust here if you're a first-time visitor, but some areas, such as the pools and hot tubs, are still nude use only even then. So if it's your first time, check in, take the tour, then get naked and have fun!Went here for the open house with my 2 year old daughter. First, I was impressed with the background check that they ran on me for security before letting me roam the grounds. This us very important at a place like this knowing that convicted predators cannot freely enter. The entire introductory process and tour were both informative and interesting for a newcomer like myself. By the end if the tour, I knew just about everything I needed to get around and was given the opportunity to ask questions. Then they let us go out on our own and explore. My daughter immediately wanted to hit the pool so we did. We had a blast. They allow you to bring your own food and drinks, while also having a restaurant and snack bar available by the pool. There's an indoor pool as well, with hot tub and sauna. There was also a gym that wasn't updated or modern, but sufficient. There's a game room with televisions, a small library, and a quiet room with couches and a tv that's perfect to take the kids to rest or nap. There is a playground, but I do not recommend using it due to the wood being weathered and splintering. I was told that they are replacing it in the future. Two other unique features are the church and firehouse.Now to the best part-the people. There were people of all shapes, ages, sizes, genders, sexual preferences, and handicaps. To be completely honest, the other nude places I've been usually mostly consist of old, out of shape Caucasians. I was delightfully surprised to see the diversity here and how accepting and friendly everyone was. My daughter and I were quickly embraced and made to feel welcomed. We were offered food, drinks, towels, and rides on people's private hold carts all within the few hours that we were there. I cannot stress enough how comfortable and inviting these people are. I felt at home and like family within just a few hours of being there. My daughter, of course, had a blast playing in the pool and running around naked, and I felt a sense of security for her that I usually don't feel around strangers.All that being said, I really have nothing negative to say about this place except wishing I lived closer. It was almost depressing getting dressed to leave, but we will be back for sure. They have plenty of planned events. I do not know where the previous negative review, but it is entirely inaccurate. The facilities are fine and clean, and I saw no bugs inside any of them. And I came as a single dad and had no issues of acceptance. Sure, some people may have been there as small groups that kept to themselves, but that's anywhere. Sometimes people just want to relax and not be social. But for the most part, no one treated me as an outcast because I came as a single male. I have seen this at other places, but not here. I highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to experience the freedom and comforts of nudism for the first time or any long time nudist looking for a great place to go.

My partner and I went to the White Tail Resort this past weekend, for our first experience with nudism. I can say we had a great time. The staff, and the customers were great. We weren't at all sure what to expect, but I can say, we were delighted and will be back! The food wasn't the greatest, but in general, we had a great time.
