I had never been to a toy museum before. This museum had some neat toys and I enjoyed walking through and looking at them.
I'm 50 years old so I seen a lot of old toys that I remembered as well as many that I had never seen before. If you are interested in such things its worth a stop while at the Natural Bridge.
It was great to see many of the toys i played with and that my children had. It had so many it was amazing.
It was there a few years ago and was very impressive. Now it has been moved to Branson Missouri. They are renovating it to make a hands on learning center. So we will see.
More toys than you can possibly imagine are there and from many, many years back..i remembered a great deal of them and WOW... did it take me back! REALLY enjoyed it
just was not very impressed was in a basement area and felt more like walking through a second-hand shop than a museum
Don't bother unless you are really into old toys. The place seemed a little like an after thought, but since it was part of the admission ticket we had purchased, we walked through. I would not recommend paying extra to see it.
To look at and talk about when Games were Games, most without batteries:)A very large collection of toys, dolls board games, die cast models and more. A pretty good collection of Lunch boxes from days gone by too.
The train layout was advertised on the computer as being one of the largest on the east coast. Wrong - not even close - hardly anything, as was the toy museum. Couldn't believe they actually charged people to go in to see it.
There was a sign posted when we were there saying that they were going out of business. Lots of toys on display but I don't know for how long. Could already be gone
This and the butterflies exhibit are in the basement of the Bridge gift shop. We did not take a detailed look at them, but they looked like stores to me.
Well, I had read about this exhibit and so I had a low expectation going in. There were a TON of great toys from days gone by and many brought a smile to our faces. They will be closing up the exhibit for good this month and so the collection of toys are available for offer/sale by the owners. If you ever wanted to own the ENTIRE Masters of the Universe collection or any of the other great toys you should get in touch with them as soon as possible!
Neat toys but displayed like a flea market. I love toys and the imagination they spark, it was sad to see all the potential and no enthusiasm.
I enjoyed walking through and looking at all the old toys from different time periods. They have a lot of 80s toys. If you like toys, then you will enjoy this. If you do not, then you will be bored. The museum is the lower level of the visitor's center for Natural Bridge and it has access to bathrooms, a cafeteria, and a gift shop. I would not consider it a museum, but just an extra room in the visitor's center with toys in it. It comes free with the ticket to see Natural Bridge.
this tour is also inclded with the natural bridge. it was fun seeing some of the toys we had growing up, and that we had boughten for our children to play with.
