Small and cozy/intimate in the barrel room (with a set up for music though we did not experience that) and a nice patio for warmer weather-the selection of wines was small but interesting (and fun names) and we purchased here too. Staff was very engaging and knowledgeable (again can make all the difference). It was nice to sit and unwind, unhurried, and enjoy/savor the wines we were tasting which were all pretty enjoyable. Just a lovely time. My sister in law told me they were there in the summer and there was actually-gasp-dancing on the patio!

Found Mountfair Winery is small, but the service is ultra friendly and the views are relaxingThis is one of those wineries where you go to sit and enjoy the views and end up meeting all the people sitting around you.Very friendly.Small patio. Small tasting room. Small selection of wines.But - very drinkable wines. We bought the "Bubba" just b/c of the name, but actually found the Intertwined to be their best bottle.Small lake for fishing down below the property, and I believe they serve food.

Love this place and their wines are the best. Even makes non-red wine drinkers become fans! The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. The barrel room has live music many times and the views from the deck are gorgeous! We are now members and have had many fun times here and love getting our quarterly wine shipments. Every wine they make is Devine!

We enjoyed the wines and the live music in the large room. Several toddlers running amok as well as a large (though friendly) dog that was with another group kind of took some enjoyment away from our adult outing.The patio seemed to be a great place to hang out in warmer weather.

Beautiful View, Friendly employees, great wine! This one is worth a visit! I recommed the Merlot! A added bonus is that it's pet friendly!

Unlike other Virginia and California vineyards, my husband I and liked every wine we tasted here. The only other vineyard where we can say the same is Zaca Messa in Santa Ynez, CA.

Very Basic winery, but with some of the best wine in Central VA. They only make reds here if you're a white wine only drinker.
