五角大楼周边虽然有不少停车的地方,但并不对游人开放。所以需要把车停在别处,再步行过来。在大楼一角有一片纪念地供游客拍照参观,其他位置是禁止拍照的。

The historical significance a coupled with the shear size of the facility make it an good visit if you have the time. I toured long ago as a child but I have had the opportunity to visit professionally on several occasions and I do enjoy it. It is simply impressive to see the home of our military and to appreciate the service that goes on there. Yes 5 sides, 5 interlocking complexes and 5 floors, the theme is reaped throughout.

Although the personnel were great as tour guides, I hoped to see where some of the work was done, learn in general what's going on. What you get is a tour of a few hallways with historic pictures and stories of the branches of our service and a couple facts about the building. You do get to see the "inside" 911 memorial and a few facts about the day which was awesome but about the only things that separates this tour from any other DC attraction.

We did not go inside, but we drove around it----then went on to the nearby Arlington Cemetery. The 5 sided Pentagon is a low rise building that is immense. The colors are subdued---nothing flashy, but very military in tone.

my Wife and I had a tour of the Pentagon last Friday (Feb 2015) and throughly enjoyed and learnt a lot about a building and institution that we really knew nothing about. We had 2 tour guides (Airmen) and they were very approachable and knowledgeable. We saw the exact place where the plane hit on 9/11 and it was sobering and peaceful with a fitting memorial. There are 17.5 miles of corridors and you walk 1.5 miles of them. It is very well planned and executed and timed perfectly. Remember that you can't buy tickets for this tour, you have to apply at least 2 weeks in advance online, as they have to do security checks on you before they allow you to have the tour. Be careful what you take on the day as you will go through similar security checks as you do at an airport. Worth the time and effort to say you have actually been there and done it.

The Pentagon is truly magnificent. It is a structure that embodies power both visually and professionally.

This is a must see attraction. I was lucky enough to do a tour with an employee at the pentagon but there are also group tours available. The history within is truly amazing.

Booked the tour over the Internet before we flew to Washington. We arrived at the metro station and quickly got through the airport style security you need your passport. Got into the room where we had to wait with a couple of opportunities for photographs the only ones you can take on the tour.We where took around by two navel personnel who where really good tour guides. We where took around just a bit of it but to be in The Pentgon was really cool.Went to the 9/11 tribute which the tour guides where really well informed. Great tour to do if your going to Washington.

Visited the Navy corridor, Army corridor, Marines corridor, Air Force corridor, and all the Five Stars, Joint Chief of Staffs, Ground Zero, 9/11 Memorial, the Chapel, briefing room, news room, media room...A lot of history!

The building is immense; the empty courtyard in the center is 5 acres!! Tour is uber-professional; military guides show you interesting displays, hallways and sites in this historic building. Visit the Pentagon Memorial after a tour; arrive early--it can draw big crowds; schedule a tour online in advance if you can.

We had to go to the Pentagon on our 1st visit to DC. I did not consider to take a visitor's tour and after reading the reviews, perhaps should have. All I actually wanted is a kind of elevated photo of the pentagon shape of the building - almost a "been there" tick only. Well, if that is why you decide to go, don't bother...all you see is from ground level and there seems to be no way to get a true perspective of this landmark building. Too bad.

I had no idea civilians could visit the Pentagon, and certainly no idea that it contained such a fabulous collection of art. I am so glad I had the opportunity to explore this fascinating building.

we stayed at Crystal City so we pass every day in front of the Pentagon, and we only saw , lots of cars parked, a cold building with lots of windows

DId you know you can take a tour of the Pentagon? Well, you need to book it at least two weeks in advance- a longer window is recommended, given my experience. The tour is highly entertaining and informative. The whole place is set up like a museum, with exhibits lining all of the hallways, and you will find yourself wishing you had more time to stop and examine all of the memorabilia and artifacts. It is highly structured, as you might imagine, and only one hour long- but highly recommended.
