Excellent service and a great place between San Antonio and Austin for a corporate retreat. The facilities were very well kept and the service excellent. The staff went out of the way to accommodate us for 6 senior staff on a team building and management work filled retreat. The evenings were beautiful, even in the hot Texas heat and the animals were very friendly.The bungalows are beautiful for overnight stays and the food was far above average in taste and quantity.

I could not believe the number of people who made the pilgrimage to The Serengeti Resort the same morning I did! This was to be the highlight of our Easter weekend. What a disappointment for me and my kids.There are only eight golf carts, so, unless you arrive prior to opening time, expect to wait 40-60 minutes. While you wait, you can visit the one giraffe, one camel and several ostriches that, turn out, to be the primary attractions. Then, you finally get in the golf cart and head out. You quickly discover there is no more to be seen. If you want to make that long drive and pay that price to bounce around in an old golf cart, go ahead! If you want to see a variety of animals in a natural setting, do yourself a favor and visit Natural Bridge Animal Safari, much more conveniently located in the same area.
