boerne visitors info

I stopped by the Boerne visitors center to pick up my Chocolate Walk tickets for Valentine's Day. The lady was truly a nice person and welcomed us to their town. I did notice that they had a large selection of area brochures for visitors looking for things to do. Also the building was unique

The folks are very friendly and helpful. It's located in front of the Walmart. You can get maps and information about surrounding areas there.

Found the Visitor's Center in the WalMart parking lot. There's a lot of helpful information, but it's also a destination in itself. It's housed in an old ranch house that has an even earlier building (not open) on the same property---one that has a tower that may have been built as a defense against marauding Indians. WAY the most interesting VC I've seen in all my years of traveling. There's a good story provided about the site and how the town came to have it.

I live in Boerne and wanted to send my friend information to move here. I actually learned a lot myself. Beautiful location. Interesting

Such a cute little town. Love all the thrift shops. There are 8 of them in town, all supporting good causes. I especially liked the Squirrel's Nest….

We flew into San Antonio for a long weekend. Decided to check out Boerne when we left the airport since it was only about 25 minutes away and we could not check into our hotel that early. Boerne was having a festival with local artisans and crafters along the street. Nice quality items and not junky like some festivals. We wondered into stores and antique shops along the main street and everyone was very friendly. I found some horse brass I had been looking for at a decent price and it was in great condition. We stayed several hours and enjoyed seeing the town.

There is a lot of information to be had at the visitor center. If you take the time to talk with the ladies you can find out a lot about the area that is not in the books and maps they offer.We liked the are well enough that we ended up buying a house in the area.

Stopped here to get information on the area and attractions. The individuals assisting were excellent and very welcoming - they actually got out behind the counter to greet us and help us find the brochures we needed.

The volunteers are amazing - how they feel compelled to make you feel comfortable and supplied. The establishment is tidy with clean restrooms and internet connection.
