This was our second visit to Delaney for their tour and tasting. The tour was interesting and the tasting was relaxing and informative. The wines were good. Our favorite was the Sweet Red.
This venue is beautiful and has the potential to be a great experience, but when they are charging you $10 for a mediocre glass of wine and $10 for a buffet that can only be described as pathetic, it does not make for a very pleasant experience. We were served bean taquitos, the kind that come frozen in a box and then were thrown in a crockpot, chips with salsa and some pretty awful queso, grapes, and chocolate chip cookies. We expected cheese and crackers and fruit, presented in a way that would compliment the big bold room. The band was ok. This is great venue for a wedding, but skip the Rhythm and wine !
Recently attended a wedding on your property. Beautiful setting and accomodations. Enjoyed being in the midst of the grapevines - beautiful setting at sunset.
The grounds were gorgeous and the building was too. But I did not care for any of their wines and neither did my friends. We all felt there was a gasoline taste to them.
Beautiful spot with friendly, knowledgeable staff - and very nice wines. Went to Grapevine for a three girlfriends reunion weekend. The wineries in town were busy with a wine trail event (people with big wine glasses going from wine shop to wine shop). Delaney was calm and classy. Mr. Delaney built the vineyard on former cotton fields. Visit cost $10 and included a guided tour of the vineyards and processing areas, followed by a tasting of five wines. Knowledgeable guide/helpful server. Beautiful bar and tasting area. Most wines were $19.99 a bottle; chardonnay was excellent. Easy to find and a real highlight of our weekend.
We went and did a lot of thing around DFW. She saw there was a town called Grapevine, which brought up questions. Is there wineries there? Are Texas wines any good? So we proceeded to take her over there. The first thing you see when you arrive is the beautiful building they have and you notice their local vineyard. We went though the tour and sampled all their wines. She enjoyed it. It was the wife and myself 3rd time visiting.
We visited Delaney Vineyards for our daughter's reception. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They offered many suggestions for the caterers, florists, bakery, etc., We stayed for the wine tasting and loved most of their wines. We can hardly wait to see the vineyards in full bloom in July.

Beautiful winery. Staff very pleasant upbeat and accommodating. Great little gift shop. Totally unexpected greatroom behind massive beautiful doors will take your breath away. Beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Vineyard was beautiful to look at from side terrace. Great wine loved the Texas Claret and Three Daughters. Must see if you are in the area! Will definitely come back and bring friends along.
My mother and I took the short tour of the winery. Our guide, Dee, was very friendly and provided good information on the owner and the history of the winery. We went in the day on a Friday so our tour group was very small, consisting of only four of us. At the end of the tour we sampled several different wines. Dee informed us we could stay as long as we liked. All in all, it was a nice, very comfortable, relaxed visit.
Visited Delaney Vineyards for the first time during their Rhythm & Wine Outing for a friend's birthday and had a great time sipping wine and listening to live music. The wine tasting was awesome. The band was mediocre. The buffet, which they charge $10 for is a Joke. For the amount of food they give you, they should only charge $5. For example: The turkey penini was very good, but very very small. They had grapes and strawberries, I didn't want grapes just the strawberries and I got "ONE" strawberry. They had some type of salad that my friend said was good. They have some cheese and crackers and a cookie or brownie. Loved the atmosphere, but will definitely eat before I go the next time, because there will be a next time.
Thoroughly enjoyed this Texas winery for ambiance, education, and experience. Since they have an actual vineyard right at the winery, it makes it a better experience. We have come to realize Texas wines tend not to be our favorites, but this is a worthwhile one to visit.
Took my daughter to her first wine tasting today at Delaney's Vineyard. We went during a work day and had the place to ourselves. We had the wine tasting selecting our favorites of the three of us we each had a different favorite that's what is great about going to wine tasting. Then we had the tour no rush since we were the only costumers. We took pics and slowly made a way back, the guide gave us an additional sample of our favorite to sip during the tour it was a fun trip. Give Delaney's a try it was worth the trip.
This is a cool little local place to enjoy a nice afternoon or as a stop over on your way heading downtown Ft Worth or off to Dallas. Conviently located on IH 121.
Nice location and building. Friendly staff and several wines. Good experience. It was nice to see the actual process and have a better understanding of how the create real texas wine.
