enoch's stomp vineyard & winery

A wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Good customer service. Very good food and love the wine. The views are beautiful, this winery/restruant sits atop a hill overlooking the vineyard. Great place

We have traveled to the winery twice in the last two years with friends who really enjoy their wine. On this visit we not only tried the wine and bought a case or two to take home but we had made reservations at the winery restaurant. When we arrived we asked if we could delay our reservations and the staff took care of that for us while we enjoyed our wine. Dinner was good, I had a huge slab of prime rib. others went for pizza to filets! Not quite ready to brag about the food yet - but they are well on their way to a top notch place to go!

My husband and I have visited several times. Good selection of wines from dry to sweet. The country scenery with rolling hills is beautiful especially this time of year. We had dinner at the log house this past weekend. The meal and service, outstanding!

My daughter-in-law and I enjoyed our evening at Enoch’s Stomp Vineyard and Winery celebrating her birthday, after an earlier trip to Kiepersol Estates. What a day!! We especially enjoyed the ambiance at Enoch’s. Blake and Britney paid close attention to our table and gave excellent service. Blake has always been one of our favorites, always so attentive and caring. The food was excellent, as usual. DIL had the carrot/cumin soup and we shared 2 appetizers: Goat Cheese and Steak Crostini and the Rosemary/Parmesan Fries. The portions were plentiful. YUMMY! The wine was chilled and really nice. We were there on a Saturday night, and they had live music. I cannot remember the guys name but he played solo with a single guitar and had a FABULOUS voice. We enjoyed the music very much. David came by our table for a visit and was nice and knowledgeable about the food and the wine. They gave us a sample of the new semi-sweet port wine. It is very good! They surprised us with a nice warm, tasty brownie with ice-cream for my DILs birthday. What an end to a sweet evening. Enoch Stomp is one of our favorite places to visit. I recommend it strongly. NOTE: We sure miss our girl Marla. She was always like a breath of fresh air.

My husband and I have been coming too the winery for many years. We love the restraunt for a good meal and have always enjoyed the wine. We miss Marla and her great personal care she would give, but we will continue to visit the winery.

Enoch's Stomp is more beautiful than the Napa Valley vineyard I visited. My friends and I were seated in the tasting room because the restaurant building was full. We had reservations and knew we would be in the tasting room. A huge group came in behind us. Our servers were overwhelmed, and service was slow. The food was not prepared according to request, and was presented to us cold -- not appealing. I will go back because I want to support such an interesting venue in East Texas, but I will make sure I can be seated in the restaurant. If not, I will only order wine and dessert.

It was a great place but MARLA made it worth the trip, but now she is no longer employed i can buy just as good of wine and not have to drive that far to sit an visit with no telling who. Terrible day sorry i really liked the winery, but without marla it is like getting divorced and never want to see that place again.......

Enoch Stomp Winery is located in Harleton, TX. It's a great place to relax, enjoy a glass of wine, order snacks/food. The sliders are out of this world delicious. They have great food. It has a terrific view of the vineyard. It's a beautiful place, with rolling hills; I really like this place. It’s a great piece property. Its worth your time to drop by there.

Wow!!! Do yourself a favor and visit Enoch's. Great people, great wine, and a view you can't beat. They have some special going on here. We will be back in October for Pumpkin Stomp.

We absolutely love visiting this winery. It appears to be one of the only wineries in Texas where you can find wines made from the Norton grape. Try it -- it's wonderful. The tasting room is a great place to spend an afternoon sampling wines or having a glass or two. To echo a previous reviewer, Marla in the tasting room couldn't be more helpful. She is wonderful.

My husband, my brother and I visited the day after the 4th when we were in East Texas to visit family. The tasting room appears to be a new facility and there was a cute log cabin restaurant across the drive that I would love to go back and try. The staff was courteous and helpful. The fruit and cheese tray was massive, inexpensive and yummy, and was a great complement to the wines we tasted. I did the sweet flight, and my husband did the dry, so that we could try them all. My favorite was The Potter's Hand; it was even more yummy with the chocolate kisses on the table. Again the staff frequently stopped by our table to check on us. There is a nice patio where they plan to add ceiling fans, and the grounds are impressive. We will definitely be back when we visit the area

My husband and I love visiting wineries and have been to them in many states but I think we love Enoch's right here in East Texas best. We love going on Friday nights when Jim Taylor entertains but we lalso delight in going the afternoon because we so enjoy the scenic countryside and a charming sommelier there named Marla. Her engaging wit and sweet demeanor add luster to our favorite wine, Sweet Lenoir.

We love Enoch's it is so much fun to sit and sip wine with friends and family.The food and wine are wonderful. Marla is awesome she is a great asset for them.We will be going there a lot.

I have been to all the Hill Country Winery's and most of the East Tx ones as well, and I must say Enoch Stomp is in my Top 2 Fav's of Tx!!! I spent a wonderful afternoon there with my parents, whom also enjoyed the place. The lady's in the Winery helped make the trip even more enjoyable!! My mom bought a few bottles, where I bought 8!! I just served Marla's Secret to my friends at my wine party and they fell in love with it too!!! I will definitely return here with my husband on the next visit to my parents! BTW, we also ate there and found the food and service pleasant as well. Thanks ladies for the awesome afternoon delight with my parents!

I've been to this winery 4 times. I can say the wine is very good. But the best part of coming to Enoch's Stomp is hanging out drinking wine talking with Marla. I have never been served in a more friendly manner than by her. I will definitely return just for the service she provides! Ask for her anytime you come here. She will make the experience great!!
